Terrible experience. The team would not send me a returns code so I ended up with a pair of shoes I can't wear for £140. Surely that is illegal! I'm so shocked at how awful the customer service is.

I love the shoes but I absolutely have big trouble with the Altra EU costumer service. 2 months ago I ordered 2 pairs and returned one, but I still don't have my money back. I emailed and called (9 times!) and every time the answer is: "if your returned items go through the quality control you get your refund in 14 days". The package is obviously lost, but there is no help or onderstanding whatsoever. No one that mails me back with anything other than a standard answer. By now I'm at peace with the fact that I paid €300 for a single pair of Altra's. Wish I look this up before I ordered 2 pairs. Will never buy here again. Worthless company.

Shocking and disgraceful customer service. Pair of trainers, never worn, returned to the company in Italy at my expense (October 2021). They, according to the Altra, were held up in customs. After tracking for several weeks, customs attempted a delivery whereby the receiver was not in - mmm sounds like somebody's home, not a business. After contacting them directly with a screenshot of the attempted delivery notification, I received a pathetic email stating that customs has not been in contact. I am not unable to seek a refund for the £150 shoes, plus the cost of return shipping. I will never do business with this company again. 1* is far too much of a compliment. I regret not reading the reviews on this platform, as it would appear that others have had similar experiences.

Die Antworten auf meine Retourenanfrage per Mail und Telefon kamen nie. Am Ende wurde gesagt, ich soll das einfach zurück senden. Ich habe 15 Euro per Nachverfolgung zurück gesendet. Jetzt sagen sie, dass sie das Paket nicht erhalten haben. Auf meine Nachweise von DHL reagieren überhaupt nicht. Was soll ich jetzt machen?

Les chaussures sont magnifiques pour courir, mais ne les achetez surtout pas sur ce site, le service après vente est une catastrophe, plus de 2 mois pour être remboursé, sans compter le temps perdu en mails afin de prouver ma bonne foi … et les 20€ pour le renvoie. À éviter

I purchased Altra Waterproof Boots. Probably the most comfortable boots I’ve owned for my wide toes & was going to be my go to company for all new purchases, BUT after owning theM approx 4 weeks & only walking on wet grass my feet were absolutely soaked. Expensive boots that can’t take a bit of rainwater. Emailed Altra but a week later & no response. Disgusted grrrrrr

Absolutely abhorrent customer experience. They delay forever in providing return forms, they sent me the wrong size and expect me to pay for the return, and the customer service is the rudest that I have ever interacted with. I generally love their shoes, but the way they do business legitimately seems like a scam. Will boycott them from now on

Atrocious customer service, I will never buy Altra again, if I’d known that the £150 shoes that unfortunately didn’t fit and if there returns process had been normal for £159 shoes I would have happily exchanged for a different size BUT TWO months since I posted and paid £15 for returns ! I’m now still waiting for confirmation they arrived iv been in touch several times now and all I receive from Altras Margherita is the same drolling message that they have not received them and they couldn’t give a flying toss ! That your loosing your head over loosing £150 -£15 had the hassle of emails packaging the shoes up and posting them ! There are multiple customers like me , I really don’t know how this company are getting away with this scam like behaviour? They have your money but where are all the shoes????? Buy another brand Altra is not worth the hassle !
