Significantly overpriced and poorly designed.
I like the product but realized the price charged was double what the item was worth. I ended up replacing the case, the heating, and the fan. Prior to doing so, I could barely run the unit. I had to reduce the voltage and frequency just to keep it from overheating.
Even before changing the heatsink and fan, just removing the one provided and cleaning off the thermal paste and using Thermal Grizzly Duronaut instead, I was able to run the unit at the default settings.
I also added heatsinks to the voltage regulator because after getting the ASIC temperature under control, I still had warning for the voltage regulator temp. Now, with the mods, I’m getting 1.47 Th/s while the ASIC temp is 32 C and the voltage regulator temp is 72 C.
I ordered a 602 from another supplier for less than half the cost so with the mods, they were still less than the cost of this 601. I also had to print a stand and throw yours out, so in the end, I only ended up using the bare board from your unit.

Our goal with these units is to provide a ready-to-run, plug-and-play experience for most users, which includes the enclosure, cooling solution, and overall build. That said, we recognize that more advanced users, like yourself, may want to push the hardware further or prefer to fine-tune thermals and components to achieve optimal performance. Your notes on thermal paste, cooling, and voltage regulation are valuable insights. With Such a large cooler is sometimes becomes dislodged during shipping resulting in the thermal bond being broken.
We also take concerns about pricing seriously. Factors like sourcing, assembly, and support all play a role, but we understand the importance of delivering clear value, and feedback like yours helps us continue improving. We Will continue to do better, Thank you!
