Junk OS or Worse
Once the unit got to me I proceeded to put it in place following the the imaginary docs that came with it. Thankfully Yourube videos are better than their docs but still one setup the junky OS on the unit would NOT allow me to use the built in Ethernet port which was the ONLY reason I purchased the BC04 Hammer miner instead of one of the nerd miners. The os had a bug that caused it to fail to hash. Updated it manually and still had to set up the unit to use a WIFI connection. I’d give this thing a 1 star but at least I finally got it to work after 8 hours of messing with it. Hammer miner BC04 os is junk.

The Hammer Miner BC04 does support both WiFi and Ethernet, so we understand how disappointing it would be to run into an issue with the Ethernet setup when that was an important reason for your purchase. The BC04 runs Hammer Miner’s firmware/OS, and while we do not develop that software ourselves, we are always happy to help troubleshoot setup issues, firmware updates, pool configuration, and connectivity problems where we can. We’re glad you were ultimately able to get the unit hashing, but we understand that spending hours troubleshooting is not the experience anyone wants.
