If you are someone who is impatient or expects 2 day delivery after payment, then this is not the subscription box for you. I don't have a problem waiting for my box, and have generally pleased with the items. I usually pick out the items I like, and then my daughters and granddaughter pick from the rest. I never had a problem with finding a good home for the spare items. I don't wear mascara, but my daughter snatched that immediately. Regarding the value the items; I've done an internet search on the companies that provided products, and most of them are pretty darn expensive. There are 6 items in my upcoming box, and the cheapest is worth is worth over $40. The Graf-Lantz website shows bags that are well over $200, so I believe their estimate of $158. I usually buy a fall box for my daughter, and then cancel the subscription until I buy her another for the next Christmas. I never had a problem with a cancellation. I, also, moved and had no problem updating my address. Overall, I have been pleased with this subscription company.

Don’t waste your money on this company! I’ve been patiently (and now impatiently) waiting on my winter box, paid for way back in November of 2021. The company is full of excuses, and I’m not the only customer who is tired of waiting. They’re now promoting the spring box, while not yet fulfilling the winter box orders. I can’t even file a dispute with my bank, because Alltrue charged me more than 90 days ago. Their behavior is inexcusable!

I was impressed by the quick reply to my issue and I was extremely happy with the offer given to address the issue. This is the best example of excellent customer service I have experienced in a very long time. This company goes the “extra mile” to please the customer. Like so many others who have complained about this company, I cannot get Alltrue to cancel my subscription. As background: 1- I subscribed to a quarterly subscription to Causebox, a company whose mission and products I support. I received 3 shipments from Causebox, which I paid for on a quarterly basis. I did not subscribe to the annual Causebox program, which would have allowed me to select which products would be shipped because I did not want to be committed for a year. 2- Causebox sent me a notification that they were now Alltrue when I received my first shipment from Alltrue. The products did not match what Causebox promoted (sustainable products from underserved artisans) and I immediately canceled my subscription so I would NOT receive any additional shipments. 3- While I was out of the country, a second Alltrue shipment arrived. It was charged to my credit card and again I re-canceled my subscription. I was surprised to receive notification that the next quarter's Alltrue box was in process and checked the website, which did indicate that my subscription was canceled. No place on my log-in page was there any information about this being an annual, non-cancellable subscription. 4- I reached out to Alltrue by email to request that they not ship the box and verify that my subscription was canceled. I received an email from Alltrue explaining that my cancellation was to not renew my annual subscription and I not only am I liable for the box in the process but two future boxes as well. This company is unethical: I NEVER enrolled for an annual subscription. And it is not even true to its stated mission which says: “We are committed to delivering delightful goods made fairly and sustainably by brands doing their part to better the world. We believe everyone should have access to low-waste, sustainable alternatives without a price barrier to entry. We’re building a membership with a heart — a place to discover brands and products that are using business as a force for good. Between our flagship seasonal boxes, socially-conscious marketplaces, and in-depth content, we’re shining a light on all good things, and cultivating a community rooted in consideration, compassion, and the potential for collective change.” Company ships cheap products made in China and India. The most recent box included a cheap polyester knitted cap and metal food containers (I guess as an alternative to fast food packaging). You cannot microwave food containers, so they don’t make sense for taking food to work. It also included tea from India that is overpackaged in a metal tin inside a master carton. Nail polish? Cheap earrings? I don’t think any of those products qualify for anything that is sustainable, low-waste or compassionate. Then the company claims that the products have a more than $200 retail value. Products don’t even cost half of the $49/ box cost. Total ripoff.

10/10 customer service and products! This organization is truly amazing! Anytime I have had an issue or concern they have gotten back to me in 24 hours and rectified the situation! I had to leave a review after my last experience. Due to the pandemic, there has been many delays on their shipments which is normal. I received an email stating that my Fall and Winter boxes had shipped at the same time due to this delay. No problem, I knew items I had chosen were backed up. Turns out, I had received 2 Fall subscription boxes by accident. I thought I was going to miss getting my Winter box. In actuality, the first box they sent had not made any movement for 10 days on the carriers end, so they feared it was lost. SO THEY SENT AN ENTIRELY NEW BOX just in case. When I informed them I had indeed received both, THEY SAID I COULD KEEP IT. Not only that, but I will still receive the Winter box shortly. The products inside are incredible and I’ve loved every product so far. Not only is their customer service A+, but they are getting amazing products into your hands for a fraction of the price!

One star is far too many for this scheming and scamming company. In spite of not receiving a fall box and then not being able to select items in the winter box, I was told I cannot cancel my membership. I can cancel the automatic re-subscribe, however, that hardly mitigates the loss of two boxes. Buyer Beware: Alltrue tosses out words like contractual agreement that insinuate I cannot break a contract while they continue to violate the contract.

This is a scam. They promised to send a certain item and the item was not in the shipment. I contacted them and they refused to rectify the problem.
