I went around and around with them about a public area, Wiscoy Falls, which they were listing as "closed to the public". I informed them this was State Land, a Public Fishing Rights (PFR) access location, a Wildlife Management Area location (WMA), etc., and even provided paperwork proving when the PFR was established. All Trails refused to change their allocation, which I sought to change because the public has legal right to access this amazing natural attraction. Needless to say, it becomes clear you cannot rely on AllTrails for information because they are apparently less than diligent about accuracy.

Mit der Einführung eines neues Abomodelles wurden einfach Funktionen aus dem bestehendem Jahreabo entfernt und man soll jetzt zusätzlich zahlen, um diese wieder nutzen zu können.

AllTrails has been one of the worst hiking apps I’ve used. It drains your phone battery incredibly fast which is dangerous when you’re out on a trail and relying on your device for safety and navigation. Even worse, they auto renew when I immediately use their chat, to tell them I didn’t want it as my credit card immediately notifies me when I get a charge if you try to dispute the charge, your credit card company still side with them. I do not recommend this app if you value your phone’s battery life or your money.

Gave a hidden link to this site under 'more info' somewhere, site opened, gave itself access / login through facebook unprompted, then started with a popup about payments after a 7 day tryout. Checked FB and indeed took a lot of liberties so immediately removed it, they then started emailing while never put it in so took it from FB. Pushy much?

Useless and expensive for, in a word nothing, information easy to find on the Internet or with ChatGPT.

Still asking me to upgrade to the new Peak level at more than twice the cost of the annual premium subscription. Bad move. I advise anyone reading reviews to avoid Alltrails. They sell you their highest level then introduce a new level at more than double the price with a few new features. Rip off. Recommend Footpath, maybe Gaia but no longer Alltrails. It simply isn’t value for money.
