I am having trouble with a front wheel. I left a voice mail to call me, Nothing. The next day, talked to someone and they told me the person I needed to talk was busy and they would call me back, NOTHING. The next day sent an email and again, Nothing. Watch out, don't buy from this company, all they want is your money and then goodbye. BIG mistake on my part.

BUYERS BEWARE! Promised replacement part never sent — then used 45-day window to refuse refund
Others who read this - please look at their AI Generated response to this and read our documented experience below, see their failure to actually do anything for their disabled customers - like the other 37% of 1 star reviews. DO NOT order from this company, here's why:
Ordered a wheelchair from All Star Wheelchairs on April 10, 2026 (Order #11209). Delivered April 28, 2026. The chair was defective on arrival: the backrest fabric was too taut and the chair would not open and close properly. This left the buyer (who is disabled and relies on the chair for mobility) without a usable wheelchair from day one.
Timeline of attempts to resolve:
May 11, 2026: Called about the opening/closing problem. Left voicemail. No return call.
May 15, 2026: Called again. Promised a callback that never came.
May 19, 2026: Spoke with Michell Ramirez in customer support. Promised a callback that never came.
May 26, 2026: Sent follow-up email. No response.
May 27, 2026: Spoke with Michell Ramirez, identified that the backrest fabric was too tight, and requested a replacement part. She escalated it.
May 28, 2026: Received email from Michell Ramirez confirming a replacement part had been requested and that resolution could take up to two weeks.
July 11, 2026: Sent follow-up email on the status of the promised part. No response.
August 11, 2026: Called customer service. Promised a callback that never came.
The replacement part promised in writing on May 28 never arrived. Multiple promised callbacks were not made and follow-up emails went unanswered for months.
When we later requested a full refund and prepaid return label (we still have the original box), All Star replied that the unit was outside its 45-day return window and directed us to take the chair to an authorized dealer for a new evaluation report. Subsequent replies were nearly identical form responses that ignored the May 28 written promise and the months of non-response.
We gave notice of the defect well inside the 45-day period. All Star accepted the diagnosis, promised a specific part, then failed to send it and stopped responding. Only after the window had expired because of their delay did they refuse a return and restart the process as if the prior diagnosis and promise had never occurred.
This pattern is not unique. Multiple other 1-star reviews on this site describe the same issues: unreturned calls, unanswered emails, promised parts or resolutions that never arrive, and generic public replies asking customers to “call us” that are then followed by more silence. These delays fall hardest on disabled and elderly buyers who depend on the equipment for basic mobility and cannot easily arrange dealer visits or wait months for a response.
What other buyers can do:
Document every call, email, and promise with dates.
File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (company is in North Las Vegas, NV; they are not BBB-accredited).
File a consumer complaint with the Nevada Attorney General’s office and with the Attorney General in your own state.
If you paid by credit card, open a dispute with your card issuer and provide the timeline and emails.
File a complaint with the FTC.
When All Star replies to a public review asking you to call, reply with the specific dates of prior unanswered calls and any written promises they failed to keep.
We asked only for the refund that should have been offered when they failed to deliver the part they promised. They declined. Buyers should not assume a written promise of a replacement part will be honored or that the company will stand behind the product once their window has closed due to their own inaction.
To All Star Wheelchairs:
Do not reply to this review with a polite form response repeating what I articulated and then asking me to call you 'directly' or send an eMail. Those replies appear on nearly every negative review here, and multiple reviewers have followed up to say the promised call never happened. If a real person is actually reading this post, reply with clear acknowledgment of the May 28, 2026 email that promised the replacement part and the specific dates of the unanswered calls listed above. The only acceptable resolution is a full refund and a prepaid return shipping label for Order #11209. Anything else (another “please call us,” another dealer referral, or another generic apology) will confirm for other readers that the public replies are automated and do not lead to actual resolution.

David and Katie, we read the full timeline and you’re right. The backrest promised on May 28 never shipped, the callbacks didn’t happen, and the return window closed because of our delay, not yours. We’ve refunded Order #11209 in full. The $1,949 is processing back to your original payment method with no deductions, and we’ve emailed you directly. We’re sorry it took this long.

I am a brand new customer
I am a brand new customer. Ordered my chair 3 weeks ago, and still have no idea when I am going to receive the chair!! I called the first time to be told UPS had picked up the chair and I would receive it. 2 weeks later they said order was lost and they were sending me a new order. Got an email stating the tracking number for Fed-Ex. Like the UPS order it has not been shipped YET!! When I called yesterday they said I would receive my chair tomorrow, but there is no indication from Fed-Ex they even have my order let alone going to deliver it tomorrow. I am very concerned this is a fake company and is going to try to steal my money!! I am so sorry I ordered from them!!
Response from All Star WheelchairsOct 14, 2026
Jeff, I’m sorry. Three weeks after ordering you should have had a chair, not a tracking number that didn’t move. A shipment going missing with the carrier after pickup is something we can file a claim on, but what happened next is on us: the replacement should have been handed to FedEx the same day it was created, and nobody should have told you “tomorrow” before FedEx had it in hand. I understand why that made you think the worst.
We are a real company with a real warehouse at 4512 Andrews Street in North Las Vegas, and you will receive what you paid for. If the replacement has arrived since you wrote this, please look it over, and if anything arrived damaged, email us photos of the chair and packaging within 48 hours so we can file the carrier claim; if it’s simply not the right fit, your 7-day risk-free return runs from the delivery date, not the order date. If it still hasn’t arrived, a full refund of your order is yours for the asking.
Either way, reply here or email us with “Jeff – Trustpilot” in the subject line, and you’ll have a confirmed delivery status or a refund confirmation back the same business day.

This is a follow up to my original…
This is a follow up to my original review of 8/21/26. I received an All Star response apologizing, explaining how they wanted to ‘make things right’ & asking me to call. I did call on 9/9/26 & followed instruction to mention my review to get me straight to the right person. Was told upon calling that Millie as unavailable but message would get to her asap. This was apparently a ‘ploy’ to make it appear All Star cares about its customers which they clearly do not!!! We are now the 21st of Sept (nearly 2 weeks later) & no call back. Your company is disgraceful how you treat customers. And disabled customers at that makes your company predatory. I hope potential customers think long & hard before given this company your business.
Response from All Star WheelchairsSep 28, 2026
Carol, you're right, and I'm sorry. You did exactly what we asked and then waited nearly two weeks with no call back. That's on us, not you, and it's not how anyone should be treated, least of all a customer who has already been without her chair twice because of a part that shouldn't have failed. I'm not going to ask you to call again. Please email [email protected] and put "Carol - Trustpilot" in the subject line so it reaches me personally, and I'll make sure you hear back within one business day with a real plan for the crossbar issue. If you'd rather we reach you, reply here with the best time and we'll call you.

ITS POSSIABLE ITS A MISSLEAD - I ORDERED FROM THE PIX AND NO BOX ON DELIVERY. ??? BAIT AND SWITCH??? I DO NOT KNOW I TRIED TOGET IT CORRECTED AND JUST GOT SPINED AROUND.
#3) REQUEST A LIST OF WARRANTY CENTERS LOCATED NEAR YOU --- NO PROBLEM ALLSTAR PROVIDED UPON REQUEST.
THEY WERE ALWAYS PLEASENT BUT BALKED IN THE STORAGE BOX.
Response from All Star WheelchairsSep 28, 2026
Thank you, Robert, both for the kind words about our team and for the honest feedback. Your Velcro tip for keeping the chair folded while lifting is a good one, and we appreciate you sharing it with other owners. On the storage box: you're right that the manual shows one on pages 9 and 31, and if the chair you received doesn't include it, that's a mismatch we need to fix, not something you should have to chase. Please email [email protected] with your order number, or call us at (669) 267-5655 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm PST), and I'll look into it directly and get you a straight answer. We're glad the warranty center list was helpful, and I'm sorry the storage box question turned into a runaround.

The chair didn't lock into the folded…
The chair didn't lock into the folded position making it difficult to load into my trunk. I let them know that it was difficult to steer straight. It would either go left or right but not straight. Instead of sending another controller, they said to send it back. This cost me $219. I guess this is how they make money by sending out inferior equipment. There was no talk about fixing it. Also it had very little power to go up an incline.
Response from All Star WheelchairsJul 31, 2026
Hi Robert,
We're truly sorry for this experience. A chair that won't lock in the folded position, drifts to one side, and lacks power on inclines is not the product we ever intend to send out, and asking you to cover $219 in return shipping on top of that is not acceptable either. That should have been handled as a defect claim from the start, not a customer-paid return.
We would like to make this right. Please call us directly at 669-267-5655 and ask for the manager so we can review your order, refund the return shipping cost, and either repair or replace the chair under warranty. If you'd rather, reply here with the best way to reach you and we will call you.
Thank you for laying out the issues so clearly, Robert. That helps us fix both your situation and the process that led here.
Warm regards,
The All Star Wheelchairs Team

Customer Servuce is Non-existent
I purchased an electric wheelchair however did not recieve my lifetime warranty as it wasn't attached to the email.I have contacted multiple times via email, through the website, and their number which is apparently an answering service. I have been told I need to speak with Michele. Yesterday she said she would call me after she.finished her current call. She did not. Left message was told she would call me tomorrow. Nothing. Everything I call she is unavailable and all the answering service is send her a message. So frustrated. As a disabled individual recovering from a surgery this is not that service I expected. As of this writing no one has responded except to leave the elusive message.
Response from All Star WheelchairsJul 17, 2026
Hi Laura,
We are truly sorry, both for the missing warranty document and for the runaround you have experienced trying to reach us. Recovering from surgery is hard enough without having to chase down basic support, and that is not the experience we ever want a customer to have.
We would like to make this right today. Please call us directly at 669-267-5655 and ask for Millie so your call gets escalated immediately. We will personally email your lifetime warranty document, confirm your account, and stay with you until everything is squared away. If it is easier, reply here with the best email or callback time and we will reach out to you directly instead of waiting on a return call.
Thank you for pushing back until someone listened, Laura. You should not have had to. We appreciate the chance to fix this.
Warm regards,
The All Star Wheelchairs Team

The customer service is TERRIBLE
The customer service is TERRIBLE. I have been trying for 3 days to do a return. They tell,me the only person in the office is busy and will, call back. They have not called back. I ask for someone with authority and they tell me I have to wait for this one person.
Don’t purchase form the,!,,,,
Response from All Star WheelchairsJun 27, 2026
Hi Judi,
We owe you a sincere apology. Three days of waiting on a return, no callbacks, and being told to wait on one person is completely unacceptable, and it is not how we want any of our customers treated. You are absolutely right to be frustrated, and we take full responsibility for dropping the ball here.
We want to make this right today. Please call us directly at 669-267-5655 and ask for a manager. We will personally pull up your account, process your return, and stay on the line with you until it is resolved. If you would prefer, leave us your best callback time and we will reach out to you instead.
Thank you for taking the time to share this, Judi. Feedback like yours is what forces us to do better, and we genuinely appreciate the chance to fix this.
Warm regards,
The All Star Wheelchairs Team
