Granted they are an option for pets medicine don't forget some are available through Walmart as well as your local pharmacy for many now as of 2025. You have to be super careful and vigilant near the year expiration of the physical prescription to make sure there's no overlap or delay in medication delivery doing it this way. And it's really frustrating when you have to see your pet suffer due to confusion and mix ups so just stay on top of that and all will work out. Otherwise plan on having extra available by the time it's time to renew the medicines so you have enough of an overlap I guess is my suggestion if it's possible with whatever meds your needing VIA mail and by the way don't count on that quick delivery it took 5 days plus to get mine for my pup and it wasn't even the holiday season for mailing... prior to the last couple of mishaps have had good timing and delivery of the necessary meds and in the various different scripts needed so I can't complain

Every thing was fine until this year. Battle trying to get Heartguard, then they send 1 yr supply when my auto ship is for 6 months. They refunded me $26, which was just 1/4 of price. I get 6 months since that’s all i can afford. Will be ordering from Chewy, also, customer service are foreigners and had to call twice to explain that vet was still waiting for them to request. Not sure of exact date of calls to customer service

Allivet is good but they use USPS and FEDEX this is the problem. My pets meds were temp controlled and USPS took over a week and the medication was to hot so it is useless 136.00 wasted FED EX delivered to wrong address medication sat in the heat again 136.00 wasted. They did take a long time to process the first RX. Now for the good news if you have a issue just ask to escalate it with a supervisor. They fixed everything and gave me a store credit. Now I send them a hard copy of the RX no loss time to call the veterinarian who usually is busy. Ask them to send meds with signature required this saves lazy fedex drivers or contractors from dump and run at the wrong address. The supervisor always resolves this. I do believe if they used UPS this would fix the delivery issues as far as customer service thats on allivet to police there employees if they have complaints about service reps they should be fired. As a consumer and pet owner it is our responsibility to prepare earlier to make sure our pets meds are ordered in time before they run out. So I give them 2.5 stars

It seems information about auto ship is not good. Keep getting e-mail that one I thought I canceled is coming. I can't seem to find good info- detailed to help on the website.

The prescription med took nine (9) days to arrive after my vet phoned it in. It was a heart medication and so very important to receive quickly. I was told it would take 2-3 days when I made the payment over the phone. Very frustrated with the delay in receiving the medication. My dog’s condition worsened over the nine days and only four days after starting the medication she had to be euthanized. (She was already in congestive heart failure and on another med.) I contacted Allivet and they did refund the full cost of the prescription. Shipping services are horrible! I wouldn’t use them again for anything needed urgently. I did appreciate the refund, however. Mixed experience with the company.

Allivet dropped the ball. My vet finally approved Ellie's prescription on Friday. I hadn't heard in back from you as to when to expect delivery so I called you on Wednesday and it still hadn't been shipped!

Allivet was good for us due to price vs our Vet. We had some delay because of the prescription issues and having to verify and shipping but in the end was resolved

There is sometimes a long delay between my account being charged and the product being mailed out- I have waited 2-3 weeks for something after my auto payment was processed. On some items, there is an email notice but on others, payment is taken without an email notice. Very inconsistent.
