Paying an additional $14 for 2-day shipping will not actually get the item delivered to you in two days-- total scam. I ordered some medicine for my dog on Wednesday and paid for the expedited shipping so we could receive it before going on a trip. Received a notification that it would be arriving MONDAY. That is 5 day shipping! I understand things don't get delivered on Sundays, but with 2 day shipping, I should receive the item by Friday or Saturday at the latest. Customer service was abhorrent when I called to resolve this issue. They would not refund me the amount I paid for 2 day shipping, and when I asked if I could please speak with a supervisor, the woman hung up on me. This was right at 4pm PST, which is when their office closes so when I called back, I could not get a hold of her again. Clearly a strategic move on her part. I would have become a regular customer at Allivet for my dog's medicine, but unfortunately will never order from Allivet again and warn others to avoid them as well.

On Friday I called Allivet to place an order for heartworm medication and told the rep that I had four written vet prescriptions for my four dogs. I wanted to order HW drugs for two and the price she gave was higher than the last order. Answer given the manufacturer raised the price. While talking I looked on their website and saw there was a $3 coupon. I asked about it and she said ok. She had not offered it and didn't even apologize for not offering it. I asked if I mailed all four prescriptions, would they keep them on file for future orders. She said yes and to write my order number at the top right side of the Rx. I did and mailed them that very day with a letter. Within a few hours I received three emails and a phone call from Allivet stating they could not process my order without a prescription. They also stated they were contacting my vet's office for an Rx. Even though I called Allivet to straighten out the mess and was assured there was no problem, I received a phone call and they also called my vet that they needed an Rx. So my vet's office called me with a message that they would not do an Rx as they had already given them to me. I had to call the vet back to resolve it. On Monday I received two emails stating they received my Rx but they did not have an order and I should contact them to make an order. I called and asked to speak with a supervisor. She offered nothing other than an apology. Because I was not satisfied after her five apologies each time I let her know I was disgruntled, she asked what they could do and I said to send my order overnight. After being put on hold several times, she said they cannot do that. The best she could offer was to send it standard shipping 3-7 days. What she said doesn't jive with the shipping section on their website. Because I ordered in excess of $49 I received free shipping but it takes 5-10 days. So who knows when I will really get the order. The people who answer the phones are like robots. No demonstration of compassion or feelings. Answers are like recordings. Terrible customer service. If the price wasn't so cheap, I would not deal with this company,

My first order was for $1.90/pill for 30 pills, coming to $57. The next month, I went to my first order using the same information and placed a reorder and they charged me $2.56/pill, or $77 for the entire order. All this without my approval! I found out tonight by looking through my bank statements. RUN!!!

They shipped my dogs Meloxicam with the wrong type of medication dispenser. If I had not been using this drug from another pharmacy I may not have caught it and just used the syringe they enclosed which was NOT ML but pounds! So, by pounds she would have received 8 times the dose. My dog would have been grossly overdosed!! Also, the bottle does not have the typical dispense nozzle and so it is very difficult to load the syringe. This place is very suspicious to me and I would look at all of these glowing reviews closely. I am going to call them tomorrow and ask to speak to the pharmacist. Will write the result after I speak to them. In meantime, double check your RX'S!!

Allivet's pharmacy is not open on weekends, despite paying for 2nd Day Business Air service. Once they receive approval (which took me 6 calls to their business), it takes another 24-48 hours for them to process and ship your order. Their pharmacy closes at 5pm ET even though their site says they are open till 7pm ET. So, after paying almost 50 dollars for 2nd day air on a Thursday, Allivet tells me my order won't go out till Wed or Thurs of the following week. How does that mesh with their shipping page or the copy on the receipt, or their published "open hours" - Do not order from them if something is time sensitive. -- I will never order from them again.

It took over a month to receive my prescriptions. When I received my 12 month supply, 10 of them were expired. They refused to reimburse me or send me a return label. Also, company is based out of India, no English speaking staff, tremendous language barrier.

Not happy about getting the run-around.... I just called Allivet rep because I was corresponding with their customer service via email [#2144138] and was told to call and order medicine. When I called this rep told me the 10mg was out of stock. So I asked to check to see if other mg are available, she said NO. However I was able to go online and order the 2.5 MG. No way to run a business....

This company is terrible. They don't care about animals and their health at all. After placing a prescription order, I waited. After a week and a half (expected delivery time), I check on it and it is still pending. After calling my vet to confirm they faced the prescription, I call the company. They say because one of the prescriptions was denied, the whole order was on hold. No communication from the company that it was denied or that the whole order would be on hold. I asked how to get the needed meds released asap and expressed shipped. They said a manager would need to do that and they weren't in until the next day (what company doesn't have a manager there for all shifts). When I called the next day to get it expresses shipped, they said it was already sent regular and it would be a week and a half. No way to express even a partial order. But they offered me $5 store credit. Heck no, never going to order from you again.
