Don’t give them your credit card number!! They didn’t even send the medication they kept charging my credit card. I have to call my Credit card to cancel the transaction. When I call these people they were very rude.

Placed my order they voided it but kept my money
I will never again order from this company. I purchased my dogs meds and when they couldn’t get the script from the vet they canceled my order but kept my money. I’ve been fighting with them to get my money for 2 weeks now. They tell me call my bank. I do not need to call my bank. They need to release my funds back to me.

They used to be a great company. NOW they are TERRIBLE!!
They used to be a great company. Not anymore. I was lied to 5 x about people calling in a script needed immediately for animals. I have had this same vet for over 17 years and she was ALWAYS reachable So total lie when they said they could not reach a person at the vet office, shame on this company! Lazy and HORRIBLE!! It was easier to cancel the order, because trying to get someone to do anything is a full time job for the client. Also, on the same order, they originally sent authorization to wrong vet , that was THEIR mistake. For the sake of the integrity of your company you need someone in charge to take charge and get rid of this problem!

They gave me a run around and no meds
My dog's pain meds had been on back-order at another pharmacy for almost 2 weeks and my friend recommended Allivet. They had it in stock and I used the chat function to see if they would be able to transfer the prescription. I was told I could in the order process. I could not. So again, the chat agent said that he would handle it for me, which I thought was great, I gave him all the information and he had me wait, said it was taken care of, and I was under the impression he had taken care of it. I check 5 days later, it still says Rx pending. I contact them again and I get a song and dance about how they will escalate it and give me overnight shipping blah blah blah and escalate it with their pharmacy. After this escalation, still nothing happened.
In the meantime, I called the pharmacy again, and got someone who managed to figure out a way to creatively fill the prescription for my dog so that we can keep him comfortable.
I did customer service for over 20 years.....do not lie to me, and if you say you are going to do something. Do it.

Good price; only if you can get the product
I placed an order for ear cleaner that was at a good price and then ordered some treats to get the free shipping. After a week went by I called to check on why the order had not shipped. According to the customer service it was ready to be shipped out Monday 3-8-21 because they did not work on Sat/Sun. So nothing happens and now it is Tuesday so I do a live chat this time. All of a sudden the products are not available and they are canceling my order even though that is not what I wanted, I wanted the product that they sold me at that price. So I will never be doing business with Allivet again with this type practice in place. If they don't have the product then they should not be selling it. And why don't they notify the customer right away if they don't have the product instead of making the customer call them to keep checking and then all of a sudden a refund? So what good is a low price if you can't get the product and now you have wasted time on something that is needed for a pet and causing hardship now? That to me is a very bad business practice and there are other businesses that do not stoop to this level.

First - and LAST - Order
I placed my first order and the process was rather seamless, so I felt good about my transaction. I ordered insulin syringes for my dog that are difficult to find. I received an email saying my order had shipped, but I still hadn't received anything after a week from the email. I clicked on the tracking number and noticed it was being shipped USPS and was still at the original location. I figured that there wasn't an issue because I always have this problem with USPS, but I still didn't have my syringes days after that, so I called Allivet. The first representative took all of my information and said she would put me on hold to figure out what to do next, but hung up on me instead. I waited for a call back, but never got one, so I called again, giving another representative all of my information again even while being disrupted by the chainsaw sounds coming from his neighbor's house while working from home. I was clearly frustrated because my dog needs his syringes and I had ordered in plenty of time to have them when I needed them, but he had a bad attitude toward me and told me the best he could do is two-day shipping, but I still wouldn't receive them for another 5 days. After the call, I received an email stating that they were doing next-day shipping, so I was thankful for the change. That is until the following day when I received an email around noon stating that my order was canceled because they were out of stock. Needless to say, my first order with Allivet will also be my last.

Fill your prescriptions elsewhere!
I have so much trouble trying to fill an order through Allivet.
I recently tried to fill a prescription and I was advised by Allivet that I could not rely on the electric prescription sent by my vet. I have no "paper copy" due to COVID.
The other documentation that I had was my receipt showing the prescription and that was not acceptable either.
I provided the vets phone number to the Allivet rep. I was then contacted by Allivet stating that they called the vet number provided the call would not go through.
I called the same phone and was given a fax number for Allivet to fax request to the vet. I provided this fax number to Allivet on Thursday.
On Friday afternoon I started receiving e-mails that Allivet was unable to contact my vet and that my order was going to be cancelled.
I received FOUR emails, all within 14 minutes showing a 3rd, 4th and 5th attempt to contact my vet.
After calling and speaking to a rep about how much time my vet had to respond, apparently the vet did not respond with ONE minute of each fax, I requested that my prescription request be cancelled.
I have two primary problems:
1) I don't know why Allivet told me they could not reach my vet. I called ONCE and listened to a recording that provided a fax number for RX requests.
2) Allivet does NOT provide time for a vet to respond! Clearly, ONE minute between requests is NOT enough time for a vet to reply.
I requested that my order be cancelled and a refund be made on my credit card.

I just got off the phone with Allivet…
I just got off the phone with Allivet and they are perfectly okay with sending out antibiotics that are already midlife. The Fish Zole I received expires in 10 months (compared to 18 months previously) and it is MY problem if I’m not using all 30 tablets before that time. Unbelievable! They offered a refund, but now I have to package it up and send it back, find another source of antibiotics, wait again for it to arrive, and so on, and so forth. The fact remains, they’re sending out midlife antibiotics. I’m done with Allivet.
