I placed an order June 12th and never received it, even after being told it had shipped by Allivet and FedEx. I had to contact ALLIVET - 15 days later - to be told that in fact NONE of the items I ordered, was charged for and that were supposedly shipped to me, were in stock! Wow! I received an apology from online chat and promise of a refund, but no credit, when I definitely deserve something (like a discount on future orders) for the trouble and wait. I could have been shopping elsewhere!!!

Worst pet pharmacy. They don’t respond to customer emails and claim they sent and RX authorization to your vet when they don’t.

Their autoship program is not reliable, and you must stay on top of it all the time. The most recent snafu for me was receipt of an order including six prescriptions for one of our dogs. One of them, sildenafil, which helps control the build-up of fluid in the lungs of dogs with heart disease, was missing. I didn't discover this until I ran out of it and realized I had none. I called allivet and the best they could do was to get a shipment to me in five days, which would mean my dog had to suffer for five days. I called 1800petmeds at 4:30pm, and they would overnight the prescription to me at no shipping cost, and call to get my vet's approval immediately. Plus, their cost was about 10% less than allivet's. Since this foul-up was the last straw for me, I called allivet the next day to cancel all 8 prescriptions and my account. The manager I spoke with didn't apologize in any way; just said "Have a nice day", and hung up on me.

I have had several ordering and billing issues over the years that were never rectified, despite my multiple requests. The final straw was an order that I didn't receive for over 2 weeks and had to find out that it was canceled and I had never been notified. I finally had enough. Closed my account today.

Allivet advertises free shipping on all orders over $45 but doesn’t honor it. I called them to talk about it and they played like they didn’t understand, made excuses, and then hung up on me. I had been very polite in discussing how their statements on the website doesn’t agree with what their true actions are. Additionally, they offered a $5 discount on auto ship but after they treated me that way I decided to cancel. Alas, you cannot cancel “Autoship?” Online : can sign up for it by web but only cancel by calling them. Bait and switch and then difficult to cancel but finally was able to cut ties. Very shady outfit unfortunately. Run fast and far in other direction and don’t look back! And actually they do offer a cash incentive to review but have a disclaimer saying they don’t pay for reviews and this has to be signed to leave a review. They don’t want honesty.

Charged my account same charge twice & they say I have no order in their system. I dealt w/ this company in 2018 & they were excellent. Don’t know what has happened to them but they are HORRIBLE now. Spent all day trying to place a prescription they kept denying my card. Called my bank they said problem was on Allivet’s end, told them about it. A supervisor was supposed to call me back…nothing. I have 2 charges from them on my card & they don’t have an order?? Feeling ripped off. Buyer beware

My initial order was for 20 tablets of Benazepril that my dogs' veterinarian had prescribed with 40 refills. The initial order went smoothly. My dogs' vet next sent in an authorization to increase the prescription to 100 tablets with refills. When I went to order, a quantity of 100 tablets, the system sent for authorization from my vet. I called Allivet and also sent a message to their customer service to try to get it straightened out. No luck. My vet sent a second authorization to Allivet for 100 tablets. I still could not order it. I again contacted Allivet customer service and got nowhere. Now I've noticed that someone has removed the 40 refills that were for the original order of 20 tablets from my account.  I have four dogs that are just now reaching their senior years. I imagine they will be needing thousands of dollars' worth of prescriptions in the coming years, but Allivet will be getting none of that business from me.

I placed an order for a over the counter supplement that my dog needs daily for liver health. I have always purchased it from my vet but they were out as well as most online pharmacies due to supply issues. Allivet had the item so I happily placed my order and paid the $13 to have it shipped in two days. It was supposed to ship the next day. Two days later I went online to make sure it was shipped and it wasn’t. I called customer service and was told that the product was out of stock now and was asked if I wanted a refund. I asked as to why I wasn’t notified about this and was told that they don’t email customers to let them know!!! What an absolute joke and now I wasted two days in getting my dog what she needs. FYI WalmartPetRx is the same company! Beware!
