Everything was fine under Walmart, but after Walmart stopped using them as their prescription provider you now have no control stopping your auto ship or removing your credit card. You have to freaking call. 2 months now I contacted them was told they stopped the auto ship. I go look at my account and shows all auto ships stopped then again this month another email saying auto ship is coming. It's after hours on a weekend and you have no ability to control your account so your credit card is charged. Can't take credit card off because surprise, you show an auto ship again. You are stuck in a loop of all month showing autoship stopped and then you get the email saying autoship is coming. Called and cancelled my account today. At least I like to think my account was cancelled. I guess time will tell. Total bs service provider.

Beware. For a long time I had a good relationship with Allivet. then I noticed their advertised auto ship prices weren't corresponding with the amount I was being billed. I called last week and told them I had plenty of a certain RX for my dog and not to autoship that order. I was very specific about the medication. There was only one medication in the order. The rep assured me the shipment would not be sent this time. You can't stop an autoship anymore online, you have to call to get it done. This is very annoying. It is not a good business practice. It also-takes the control of my credit card that pays for the autoship in their hands. You aren't allowed to delete a credit card if you have autoships on file unless you put another credit card number in. The medication got shipped for $100. A medication I do not need. I called to complain and they did not offer to make it good. "Sorry" doesn't help my checkbook. I went into my account to end my business with this company, to stop all autoships and take my credit card off the account. Can not do it, not allowed without talking to a rep. I called and they told me they were cancelling my autoships and taking my credit card off as payment but that is not what is showing online in my account. The credit card is still there the following day and so are the auto ships. They told me on the phone that the autoships and credit card are deleted on their end, but since they already lied to me about the other matter, I don't believe them. I am contacting the attorney general for my state Monday and filing a complaint. It is my credit card and I should be able to take it off my account for payment at my convenience. It is their responsibility not to ship an order unless a credit card is on file. They are holding my credit card hostage. This may be illegal. I am going to Chewy. I always get good customer service there and have control of my account. I can guarantee these guys won't send you a condolence card if your pet dies.

Allivet is illegally charging sales tax on prescription drugs. You can verify this by adding any prescription drug to the cart and then proceed through checkout. Prescription drugs are tax-exempt by law in every state in the US except for Illinois and Georgia. I contacted the merchant about the problem on 4/6/2024 and received a response from Allivet's representative, Quanella Evans. She insisted I provide proof of tax exempt status in order to avoid paying the illegal tax that Allivet is charging. Allivet has likely collected millions in illegal taxes that are not being paid to any state government. Moreover, they are defrauding their customers.

Customer service sounds like they hired a high school kid to answer the phone. Clueless about everything i asked. ( called for pricing on Rx meds) Had to spell the drug three times. Couldnt answer simple questions. Not using this company!

Two horrible experienced with this company. First time, they were "out of stock" of a supplement my dog takes. They didn't notify me that it would be late, and then, wouldn't expedite the shipping. Fast forward to about 6 weeks later, I need to get a prescription filled. After swearing I would never use Allivet again, I made an account and ordered ny prescription med from TractorSupplyRx.com. Their review is coming right after I finish this one. I get an email saying TractorSupplyRx has tried to contact my vet three times for confirmation without a reply. I think, this cannot be right, my vet is on the ball. I call my vet and they say they have no record of being contacted. I call TractorSupplyRx.com support and get Allivet! Ahhh, now it is starting to make sense. It turns out that Allivet fills prescriptions for TractorSupplyRx.com orders. I asked them about my prescription and they stated they had tried to FAX my vet 3 times. Knowing my vet does not have a fax number, I asked to what number did they fax. They gave me the voice number. When I asked how slick-brained do you have to be not to try the voice line after YOU DON'T GET A RESPONSE 3 TIMES with a fax, they had no answer. I got a supervisor on the phone and made arrangements for the prescription to be approved by voice. She did agree to expedited shipping. I will order from Chewy for prescriptions from now on. I would rather pay more than deal with the slickbrains at Allivet, or TractorSupply.com, which I now know are one in the same.

I have placed orders with this company in the past without difficulty. Now, i don’t know what is going on with them. They told me my vet would not approve the Simparica because my dogs have not been seen in 6 years. I’ve only changed to this vet 1 year ago, and they’ve both been seen at least twice. My little guy had surgery this year and last. Would not recommend them.

If you're pet really needs his meds DO NOT use Allivet. Allicheap should be their name. I wish I'd never heard of them. Took them 2 weeks to get my pets meds (which he no longer needed by the time they never arrived here since on top of everything else they mailed it to the wrong address). Allivet never told me my vet would refuse to confirm either their emails or phone calls. I had to learn that from my vet. Then to make it up they assured me they would overnight vs USPS my order. They didn't. They sent it regular USPS to the wrong address on top of that. Then to make up for that snafu they told me they were giving me a $15 off coupon which didn't work when I tried to use it. I wrote them about all this. They never replied back. Like I said you get what you pay for. Allicheap is my name for them More accurate. Shady bunch.Giant waste of time worth neither the aggravation or frustration I had to endure with them.

I went to my vet on 2/19/24 and they asked me to place my order for an RX for Meloxicam for my toy poodle, and they would approve it once received. I ordered this from Allivet, where I previously ordered my dog prescriptions when it was Walmart Pet RX, with no problems. I received notices that Allivet contacted my Vet SEVEN times with no response from them. However, my vet faxed over the RX on 2/20/24. I called their office on Friday 2/23 and they said they never received it. I informed them that it was sent and expected it to be taken care of. They sent ANOTHER request to my Vet for approval, instead. On Monday, 2/26, I again spoke with a member of Allivet's staff, who was the unfortunate recipient of my distress. My vet AGAIN faxed over the approval AND sent me a copy of the email that was sent to their office. When Allivet's staff member told me that they did not receive it yet again, I emailed them my copy of the email for them to research. The only action that was taken was that they AGAIN sent my vet a request for approval even after the staff member said she would call my vet. After ANOTHER 4 subsequent requests being sent to annoy my Vet, I called and emailed to have my prescription cancelled. I got an email immediately while I was on the phone with an Allivet agent confirming the cancellation. After we hung up, I then got an email with a new invoice for the prescription. You can't make this stuff up!!!
