Allivet charged me for medication for a dog who was no longer alive. They would’ve had to get a prescription from our vet. No. They just charged us and shipped. I had deleted the pet from their website and informed them via email. Tried to call but couldn’t get through.

Shady Company. I ordered from them for the first time. Medicine for my cat. I waited a month and got nothing. No email, no response, like we don't have the product at the moment. I called them and my order was canceled upon request. When I pointed this out to the lady on the phone, she hung up. I tried again a few days ago because they said the product was available. No, it wasn't. I had to call again and ask twice. If you don't have a product available, note it on your website before you take people's money.

Customer service does not answer phone. 30 minute hold times even when my vet tried to call in approval as faxed approvals not being received. Emails go unanswered to resolve approval situation. If current order is ever received I doubt I will use in the future. They have already charged to my credit card!!

I placed my order for Apoquel on 3/14/25 and I just received it today, almost one month later. I had not heard anything from them when I placed the order so I reached out to them. They said they need an RX from my vet, which I sent to them on 3/19 by priority mail 2 day shipping and paid for that service. and they couldn't find the package for 2 days after it was received. I got a voicemail from their customer service last week with a number to call back. I called back twice, received a message that they could not answer the phone, so I left a message twice and never heard back from them. It's been a nightmare and my dog has been suffering with her allergies all this time. I will never do business with them again.

I would give no stars if it were possible. My family adopts handicap,sick,and very old dachshunds. We have had 6 at one time and they were all on at least 2 medications each. EVERY SINGLE TIME Allivet needed a prescription, it was like pulling teeth on a fully awake cat. Always saying they never got it or the vet hasn't responded. Well, I'm related to the office manager at my vet so I know when they lie. Everytime they send the prescription request it is signed and returned immediately, sometimes 2 and 3 times! This has literally gone on for a few years. Yes, I could have switched companies but I literally did not have time to set up all those medications through a new company because I was changing dog diapers and going to therapy appts. Please, PLEASE, save yourself the headache and use another company! Allivet is THE worst company I've ever dealt with.

They get faxed through prescriptions with three refills only to get their info muddled. This is the second time I have not received my dog's meds on time as they screwed up. I'm looking for another online med retailer.

My dog has epilepsy, so it's essential that there isn't a disruption in his meds. I tried (SEVERAL TIMES) to use Allivet to create a steady, reliable source for his meds. This last disruption was the kicker.... I ordered his meds well in advance of us running out. I even setup autoship for all 3 prescriptions needed. I checked the site daily for updates as our deadline approached. I had to call multiple times before someone finally gave me the "warehouse delay" excuse. No one called to alert me to this. No emails, no nothing. Just .... if you're not checking up on them everyday, let your pet run out of meds and die.... And to top it off, when I said this won't work and to cancel the autoships, THEY WOULDN'T ISSUE A REDUND! Because the meds were "already in transit". (They finally showed up almost a month late). There's no regard for the customer. No regard for the safety of the patients that rely on these meds to live. No regard for HOW EXPENSIVE some of these meds are. I will NEVER use them again, and have told everyone that will listen (including my vet) about this experience. Warning them that if they truly love their pets, they'll steer clear of this company.

If you want to receive your pet’s medication on time and expect a smooth ordering process without unnecessary delays, do not use Allivet for the sake of your pet. I ordered asthma medication for my cat, and my vet approved the prescription the next day. However, Allivet did not ship the medication until 7 days later. The order status remained "Rx Hold Status", and after multiple emails and chats with customer service, they claimed they needed clarification from the vet. even though the dosage instructions were clearly stated on the prescription! Had I not contacted them, I fear the prescription would have never been shipped. After the delay, customer service assured me they would provide free next-business-day delivery. However, when I checked the tracking number, it showed a 6-day delivery time instead. I won’t receive it until next Tuesday. This is completely unacceptable for a pet’s critical medication. I have canceled all auto-ship orders after reading more horrible reviews about their service. Since I value my cat’s well-being, I will now carefully research all reviews before trusting any online pet pharmacy.
