AllivetReviews of allivet.com

Allivet is great. USPS is worse than lousy. 4 days and still not here yet. What has happened to first class mail? 4 days from Miami to Tampa. I get mail from Cali in 4 days. 300 miles in 4 days and 3000 miles in less than 4 days. Poor service at best. Again, Allivet is great!

Products are well known and typically have good sales, however, I ordered 7 bottles of a product, web site appeared to go down before I finalized. I hesitated and did not see any auto-generated email confirming order, so I reordered. Allivet sent me the same order twice and of course, charged me twice. I'm keeping the order, but not happy with the web site or lack of company checking duplicate order within minutes of eachother.

I bought a tray of intranasal vaccines to vaccinate a litter of kittens and used 5 was planning on vaccinating them 3 times. At 4,8,12 weeks. The problem was the vaccines they sent me EXPIRE a month after I received them! So they are selling old vaccine. I've ordered from other online stores and got vaccines that had at least a year till expiration. And I paid TOP DOLLAR it's not like I got a discount for them being so close to expiration. I will have to throw them away and order elsewhere. So disappointed with Allivet. I was so happy to find a place in my state to order from so the VAX didn't show up hot with melted ice packs, but now it's not worth it since expired VAX are useless to me. Waste of money! Very deceptive they should mention the fact that they need to be used all at once since they are expiring.

I've been using Allivet for many years for all my prescription medications for all my dogs but it's certainly gone down hill the past 4-5 months. I had an auto ship monthly for 2 of my dogs and it just never came ??? I tried calling for many days but could never get to talk with anyone as I kept getting disconnected. I decided to give Allivet one last chance and ordered our heartworm meds for 1 year and that order got messed up. They sent me 6 months instead of 1 year that I ordered. So, not sure what's going on at Allivet but something is not right there.

True I had not ordered in two years, but changing the password, the address, both billing and shipping, seemed to wipe out the order and then reappear again after I logout and came back in only to see the order doubled, even though the checkout indicated 0 items. Unable to completely eliminate old address.

I purchased Dasuquin soft chews for my dog many times through Allivet and they were always "soft" chews. In this last bag I purchased the chews were stale and crumbled all over the floor, a constant mess to clean up. I contacted customer service and explained and they said a manager would have to call me back. Never got a call back. These chews are over $50.00 a bag. Not happy about the product and lack of at least a courtesy call back

My dog has seizures and needs medication. I have it on autoship. It was set to go 4/7. I called on 4/9 because it said RX hold. My Rx is good until July. I was told it would go out today, there was no RX Hold"it just says that when an order does not go out" It still says RX Hold, it does not show it shipped. My dog is A St Bernard, her seizures are terrible to behold. I sure wish someone cared enough to call me, offered to expedite shipping without cost to me. My autoship give you 5 weeks notice I expect that you would have plenty of time to be ready to ship on that date...very sad.

My entire re-order was cancelled because one of the items was on backorder. I was sent a letter saying they would let me know when back ordered item was in. I assumed the rest of my order would be sent. Instead it was cancelled. I called 5 days later when I realized my order hadn't even shipped, they fixed the order, but I had to pay extra to have it shipped in time for my dog to not miss his drugs for congestive heart failure. It seems like I'm on the phone with customer service every few weeks. If the prices weren't so low we would go somewhere else.
