Unfortunately it was not and we ran out of my dogs pills Saturday March 17, 2018. It was very upsetting to have to wait 2 days to get my dog back on her medicine. And yes she was showing signs of the disease without the medicine! I can only hope the next refill (which I will be ordering by the end of next week!) doesn't have these problems! I sure hope it gets here in time or I will be ordering from elsewhere. And if you check my account, I do order quite a lot of items from your company!

I hate having to waste time creating an account, when I order. and not being able to pay with paypal. Even the review is a nuisance

Good grief....I ordered Bravecto for 3 dogs...Tried to order Sentinel spectrum for my 3 dogs and somehow the online order did not add one of the dogs I put in, so I had to go back and order for her and was charged almost $7.00 in shipping...If the online ordering worked correctly, I would not have been charged for shipping. Tried to call and explain and was on hold for over 15 minutes and finally just gave up. Also, they have yet to call my vet for my order as I requested and it has been over 24 hours. Not sure I'll be buying again with all these problems.

Online price is not actual price you are charged. They keep telling me they need to fix this but still haven't after two months.

Need my dog's heart medication and shipping not updated for last 7 days so I called to get the story. No info and I can't inquire until 10 business days have passed. I have no info now so need to go purchase at the vet just in case. Now I am paying double this month. Cancelled all furure auto ship. No confidence anymore. I might add.. when I got shipping notice said it would arrive Monday buy 8 pm. This Wednesday and they have no idea when I'll get it.

Allivet was recommended to me by a friend. My first experience was challenging at best. i thought I would give the a second chance. This time I had an RX for Clindamycin and checked with their customer service about what was the difference between Clindamycin Hydrochloride 75mg capsules and Clintabs 75mg Tablets. She responded well there is Hydrochoride in the first one and it is a capsule...DUH....and I needed to check with my vet to see which one I should be ordering. After I went further on their site and looked at the Q&A's under Clintabs, it says right there Clindamycin Hydrochloride is the GENERIC for Clindamycin Need much better training for your staff Allivet! Other issues as well!!!!

I ordered online what was advertised as DEHP free B. Braun lactated ringers for my cat with kidney disease. What I received were ringers from a brand I'd never heard of called Vedco. The product was made in El Salvador. When I googled Vedco lactated ringers, no information came up. I finally just went to Vedco.com to find out more. There was a disclaimer stated that these ringers were "not approved by the FDA and not considered safe" Now I can't even find that info on their website. That information is also on the FDA website but you need to have the code on the bag to get the information. I had to really dig for information. I called Vedco and was told it was FDA approved. I told them that the FDA claims it's not. The gentleman got a bit defensive and didn't even offer to look into it, even though I suggested he might want to call the FDA to find out why it says what it says. I have told the staff at Allivet. No one seems to be taking it seriously, and Allivet has not updated its website. When I type in lactated ringers, the only one that comes up it B. Braun, exactly the one I want. However they do not have that brand and do not inform customers that it is on backorder and there is no supply available anywhere. There is a terrible shortage of B. Braun ringers. But there is no mention of it on the website. B. Braun is the only manufacturer who makes them with bags that are DEHP free. DEHP is a toxic chemical put in the bags to make them more pliable which is unnecessary in my view. DEHP is banned in Europe but not in the US. Finally Allivet told me they no longer have the Vedco bags, even though they had just sent me a box. They said they have Hospira bags that are DEHP free. I've been told everywhere that Hospira doesn't make ringers with DEHP free bags. So I asked the person to send me a photo of what they are actually going to send me. She said she couldn't do that. I would just have to take her word for it. As far as I know Hospira does not make lactated ringers USP with DEHP free bags. All this is very frustrating. I just want to make sure I get exactly what I order. I'm still trying to get an answer before I return the box I have and put in a new order. The reason I gave my review 2 stars instead of 1 is that the person I've been working with checked in the warehouse for me to make sure.

Allivet claims, "Over 6,000 products at guaranteed lowest prices!" I have asked Allivet to match a price twice. In one instance, they did not have the larger volume available for the compound I was already ordering elsewhere, and I thought it would have been unfair to press them to match (per ounce) pricing in that situation. However, when I asked them to match pricing on a generic medication I was buying from my local CVS Pharmacy, Allivet had the medication available in matching quantity and dosage, but they would not match the CVS price. Allivet claims, "Amazing Customer Service." This is true. I have been completely amazed at how inconsistent their service is by phone and how poorly they respond to email. Too often they don't reply at all, and whether by phone or by email, they avoid answering direct questions. I am often frustrated that they give answers that are irrelevant to the problem or the question. Other than an Auto-Reply acknowledging your email, do not expect your email to get a human response until at least the third business day. And, don't expect them to always read and follow the instructions you entered into the Notes when you placed your order on line. If you can make each of your orders for just 1 animal, and if all the prescriptions in each order are written by the same vet, and if there are no special instructions for that order, then you have a good chance of Allivet filling and shipping that order successfully - complete, on-time, and at the correct price. Avoid the temptation to bundle your items for more than 1 pet just to qualify for Free Shipping. It's not worth the chaos, confusion, and delay which will occur if you fail to Keep It Simple for Allivet.
