Allied Van Lines is a member of CMA (Canadian Movers Association) They, as well as Northern American Van Lines are run by Sirva in Alberta, Canada. What you need to know! These are not companies you want to trust with your things. Firstly they charge more because of name recognition and the assumption that you are in good hands as "they" are handling your stuff. In reality, they just call in whoever needs a haul and going in the right direction. They couldn't even tell me where my shipment was during the whole move. Don't be deceived by these big name movers. There is no apparent oversight or accountability. You pay upfront so how hard do they have to work to fix any damage? You will wait.. and wait.. and then be asked to fix it yourself and be reimbursed. Fool me once shame on you.. fool me twice..shame on me. Unprofessional is an understatement. Save your money, your belongings and your sanity and use another firm... one that uses their own people and trailers. In Canada, the CMA are ex Sirva employees so the Fox is in the chicken coop up here. Good luck!

This review is for Simonik Moving & Storage who are a mover agent for Allied Van Lines. DO NOT use this Bound Brook, New Jersey company for your New Jersey move or any Interstate move !!! They are an Agent for Allied Van Lines, so you should think hard about whether or not to use any of Allied agents since their customer service has not been that helpful about my complaint either. . Simonik Moving employees stole thousands of dollars in jewelry and money from us while they were in our house packing our household items. Included in that were many very sentimental items including father's cremation ashes in jewelry necklaces. The Simonik owner/manager did not even have the common decency to contact us to express any empathy or concern whatsoever that his employees stole our possessions. This in our opinion is totally unacceptable non-caring behavior and extremely unprofessional demonstrating his lack of responsibility and accountability for his worker's wrong doings. The police have been involved and 2 of the 3 workers involved have ignored all of their requests to come into the police station as part of the investigation. What does that tell you? I contacted Simonik's manager a final time in writing requesting he get the stolen items somehow and return them to us. He has failed to deliver them or even respond to my email, so I am starting a social media complaint campaign today. I am assuming his workers are still on his payroll and out there continuing to steal from others who are moving! Please be safe and I strongly recommend that you do NOT use this Mover.
