I paid Alleviate Tax $10,000 after initially being quoted $20,000, and I regret hiring them. I disclosed my disabilities and the sensitive nature of my tax situation. The extent of the banking information they later requested was not explained to me before I paid. Had I known, I would not have hired them. I also was not notified when the tax professional handling my case was no longer with the company. For $10,000, I expected clear communication, transparency about the process, and updates about who was handling my case. My experience fell far short of those expectations. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for tax help.

My brother and I went to Aleviate for our taxes, they told us everything we wanted to hear and once we signed the contract they informed us they could not help us and refused to refund our money. Please do your research before signing anything.

I did not have a great experience with Alleviate Tax Relief but I did with one of their employees. Out of all the people I dealt with in the organization, Marcela stood out as professional and persistent. I did not walk away with what I wanted but at least I can look at her and feel somewhat vindicated. Thanks Marcela!
