Flying from LAX to CUN and upon boarding due to a full flight, as we got to the front of the line, staff started ripping bags and carry on from us in a flurry, naturally confused, we couldn't understand what was happening. They demanded we check out bags in, as they were worried about cabin room, the kids were scared and thought we were being robbed. It wasn't handled well at all. On the other side we had to come home, in CUN there were passengers refused boarding onto another flight all upset and arguing with staff at the baggage counter. As a result we waited in line for some time. We ended up getting to the front eventually and they told us that baggage drop had just closed and they could not help us, despite us sharing this concern with them whilst we were on line. On top of that they offered to put us on the same flight tomorrow, pretended to make the change to get rid of us, told us there was no confirmation except the code we had on our original booking. They were going home as it was 5.15 and wouldn't be back until 12.45pm the next day. We called support to confirm the change and were told no notes, nothing done, and the flight was full anyway. They wouldn't help or support us at all. Really appalling airline on all fronts. Fly with anyone else but Alaska air.

Horrible airline. They only started checking people in two hours before the flight, resulting in too little time for every passenger to be checked in in time. With another long line at the TSA checkpoint due to understaffing, many passengers were unable to board the plane in time, causing the flight to be delayed and some even missing the flight and subsequent layovers. Due to our original flight being canceled, our tickets were rebooked onto another flight. Because of a system error on their part, one of our tickets was not properly transferred. At the check-in desk, it took them forever to figure out what was wrong. The staff clearly did not know what they were doing and everything had to be entered in manually because their system was not working properly. They didn’t know how to fix the issue or correct the mistake, so instead they chose to remove my sister from the flight and refused to help her, claiming there was not enough time to check her in. But this was not true as they were still checking in other passengers from the same flight. They simply did not know how to fix it and chose to walk away (literally). Meanwhile there was not enough time in the first place due to their own tardiness, inadequacy and errors, while we payed the price. We were completely shocked by the lack of empathy, humanity, respect, and helpfulness. My sister, a young and small woman, was left stranded all alone in a foreign country without any assistance or solution, forced to fix the situation on her own. Crying and in complete dispair. They did not care. There was no apology or acknowledgment whatsoever. It was absolutely unacceptable. While we remained respectful, they treated us as if we were not even human and literally walked away. Never fly with this airline. Completely inadequate, unprofessional, and disrespectful.

One and a half hour hold to get someone on the phone. I was calling because I can’t get into my account. Everything was fine in August but now they have all my information wrong. PO Box from 16 years age as my address. Rewards # doesn’t work. They’re a mess

My flight was delayed until late in the evening out of a smaller airport. This airport has about 2 gates and so generally people do not arrive 2 hours in advance. One would assume you are advised the flight is delayed so you can show up on time for it. Otherwise, why would you even notify people? Even though I arrived 90 minutes in advance the TSA security had closed. There was no notification that I needed to show up at the original flight time or I wouldn’t be able to get through TSA. Employees at Redmond airport were rude and unhelpful, insisting I had to call Alaska to rebook my flight.

I would have given them a 0 stars but I cant. This company has taken my years of earningpoints and reset it to zero when switched to their new rewards program. These robots are so bad at communicating I cannot get a real agent to help me. Additionally, they made me pay for checked baggage when it should have been waved since I am flying within the state.

Joke of an airline. Currently been stood in line for 30 mins to try and sort out my flights today because they employed a pilot that cannot land in fog!!!! Whereas the Delta flight just left. No communication, terrible customer experience. Will never fly with this airline ever again.

This is more about DFW lack of workers to check us and our bags in at the gate. We come early so we can have a relaxing time and not stress about going through security and no one is there to take the bags. We can tag our bags- but there was no place to leave them or person to leave them with. I have been standing here for over an hour and there is a sign that says they will be here two hours before take off- and we will still have to go through security after this and then find my gate. I was hoping to have a relaxing lunch - but that won’t happen. I will not use Alaska again when coming to Dallas. Hire more workers and change your policy Alaska!!

Awful company that just take your money! Haven't even had the chance to take a flight with them. Booked a flight which we had to change due to a connecting flight changing their schedule. They then couldn't provide us with the second flight we booked as they no longer fly direct to LA and refunded it as a credit to an account which we will never be able to use as we live in the UK and it only has a few months on it. I have looked and they could not have provided the original flight we booked either, refused to give my money back and had the cheek to say hope you will fly with us in the future!! Ha ha no thanks! Avoid!
