***EDITING TO ADD that not only did I pay a commission, which I knew about, but they snuck in a TWENTY FIVE DOLLAR FEE for sending me a check. NOWHERE did it tell me but even when I was on the phone with someone claiming to be a supervisor, he didn't tell me that as wel l *** I am going to file a complaint with the BBB as this is 100% unacceptable. ** EDITING TO SAY THE RESPONDER DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH which is typical for this company*** It is impossible to get assistance so the buyer of my domain can get what they paid for. I have two accounts - one predated the merger with godaddy. That one has the domain on it but is not connected to godaddy. I cannot log in to get TO it. I wasted an hour of my life yesterday on the phone with someone who could only confirm what I told them. My godaddy account does NOT show the accounts are with afternic so I cannot provide the authorization code. When I try to reset my password, I'm greeted with 'we're sorry this is an invalid page' and the support team just ignores that and responds with a fake apology and more detailed instructions of what to do after I log in. It's not my fault that the merger was such a complete mess but they're making it impossible to complete a deal and they're still going to take their 30% IF I can ever get into my account. The odds are not looking good and that's their fault not mine. What a horrible experience and if I can get back into my account I'm pulling my listings.

Dimo Kolev was excellent! I called late and Afternic was closing, but Dimo still helped me. He was patient, knowledgeable and very professional. I received my payment a couple of days after the domain sale was processed. I just confirmed it today. For other customers that didn't get a good experience, it's possible that some necessary information was not provided. Dimo gave me guidance on what was critical information to provide and what was not necessary. I was able to avoid problems with my transaction because I received good step-by-step guidance and excellent support. I will definitely use Afternic again and I highly recommend it to others. My suggestions... Clients should contact their customer support and get help with the process. Afternic should consider revising the email notification by putting the step-by-step instructions on the email instead of asking sellers to click a link to get their money. It's anxiety-provoking because it looks like what scammers send to trick people. I was nervous about clicking the link. So, I contacted Afternic. My experience was great because of Dimo's help.

Very, very poor customer service. I sent them several urgent messages with no response. Also, the brokers cause many lost sales due to their own personal targets that have been set for them in advance. They always negotiate with buyers for large amounts, even if it means the sale never goes through. They acquired and shut down Dan, and in doing so, destroyed a large part of the domain trading industry. It’s the worst platform ever.

Very good communication. <1 minute wait time on the phone. Solved my issue very quickly. The man on the phone was very courteous and understood my problem.
