NEVER AGAIN!
I was prescribed a gel and NEVER told it could burn my skin. Plus I had to pay $211.00 for the gel and I later found out there was a $63.00 generic I could have gotten. It burned my full chest skin severely and I couldn't sleep at night and couldn't put clothing near it for over 2 weeks! When I went into see the PA after I used the 2 doses and showed her my burning red chest, she said she was happy for me because that meant that the gel was working! I spent a full week in burning pain and when I called for help twice in one day, no one called me back. When I went into the office the next day, I overheard the staff talking about my phone call because I was crying on the phone. When I told the receptionist that was me and that I needed to see a doctor immediately she said, "We don't have a doctor here." She gave me an appointment at the Sumter office and the doctor there was THE WORST. I kept telling him I was and had been in burning pain on my entire chest from the gel and his response was, "Pain is subjective." not once but twice. Finally, he said that I probably had an allergic reaction and prescribed a steroid cream. I was told I could come back in 2 days but when I went to make the appointment, the receptionist said, " We don't have a doctor here on Thursdays." What kind of a practice has no doctor at all in their Brownwood office and days in the Sumter Office without a doctor? Never again!
