You won't believe this!. Awhile ago we needed a new battery. This weekend we went to see friends and had issues with the car not starting & needing it jumped. Come to find out today the technician put the wrong battery in our car!!! Yes it was under warranty. No they will not replace it without us needing to buy a new one being it is not the battery for our car! Are you frigging kidding me $218 for a battery when they put the wrong one in!!! They told us they could replace it with the one he put in but they don't even have it at this location or the one we ended up going to across town when this one machine didn't work to test the battery. Needless to say I am livid.

Overpriced parts, rude customer service, and half the stuff is always outta stock. Employees don’t seem to know much, either. Just not worth the hassle.

Purchased some "Premium" brake pads with a limited lifetime warranty. Later needed to replace them and went to get more. While there asked about the lifetime warranty, which was ignored. Asked a second time and then they looked up the last purchase of brake pads. They said that sure I had purchased the "Premium" pads, but Advance Auto Limited Lifetime warranty is only 45 days. I told him that was ridiculous and lead brake pads would last that long. He then stated that it had other criteria, such as the mileage. I told him that no one asked me the mileage at purchase, how can that be used as criteria? He just shrugged and asked which pads I wanted. I told him none. Will not purchase at Advance Auto again.

Advance Auto Parts sells really bad quality parts cost hundreds of dollars in mechanic fees and also damaging other related parts in your car. When You call corporate to complain you speak to a VERY uninformed warm body who are being paid to listen to your fury and reply with the normal corporate reply "we are so sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us" nonsense. You are on your own buddy !!

i am a customer in this store for many years, went there today 2-18-2025 to drop 12 old car battery's and they did not take them, the employs are very Lasy,

The store located on 29th and Robinson in Oklahoma City.Didn’t have the right socket I needed so bought a set we thought one might fit so I went in the parking lot opened the set to see if that socket fit turns out it didn’t tried to return the set and the guy that helped me got rude and then proceeded define the definition of used like he didn’t jus help me try to find the singular socket!! I mean I get it dude your having a bad day he had jus gotten off the phone with a rude customer while I was waiting to return the socket set but that doesn’t give you any right to treat your customers like that shame on you and shame on advanced auto parts for not getting there employees congratulations bud you made the whole franchise look bad.Will never go back

I made an on line purchase and paid for it, at night. In the morning I received a text message telling me that the order would be filled late on the day. I asked if the items ware there for sure, because i was 15 miles away, I was told the store had 12 of them i only wanted 10. I arrived at 6 pm. I was told by the clerk there was no order, that the items were not in the store. I called the web site, and after going back and forth with the agent, I requested to speak to management. The order had been cancel, no one called me or sent me a text, to tell me about it. They had sent an email. I was working all day and my phone does not receive e-mails.. They would not do anything to make ME feel right. They do not care. I asked them why they sell at the site things they do not have. SOME KIND OF SHITTY OUTFIT THIS IS.

We ordered an alternator online and paid for expedited shipping because we needed it quickly. I went to check status today and it was canceled! I contacted Advance Auto Parts as was informed they canceled because they do not have any in inventory. I looked online and pointed out they have the same part available online now for more money. I was told the website does not reflect what is actually in inventory. What?? So not only did they take my money and waste precious time but, when they ‘canceled’ didn’t even bother to inform me. I only found out because I checked status to see if it was arriving today. Their response was we apologize for the inconvenience. Unacceptable!!!
