Don't reccomend using Advance Auto Parts for purchasing a deep cycle battery for your boat. I purchased one from the Kieths Bridge location in Cumming, Ga. Charged it after the purchase and used it for a day of fishing. After an overnight charge, it would only charge to 90%. Charged another 8 hours and still only 90%. It only charged to 90% on the original charge. Took pictures of the new battery and two other batteries I charged which showed a 100% charge. Took new battery back to store and tried to get my money back. No customer service. Keep saying the battery was good and wouldn't even look at pictures I took showing it wouldn't charge to 100%. Refuted charge with credit card company but to no avail.

So I knew nothing about recharging my AC system in my Toyota Avalon and asked help. The lady who is probably new as I never saw her before told me which one to buy. She went to my car and could not find the place to add product so she went inside to get help. The guy showed me the place to fill. I went home and tried to fill but the hose could not reach. I go back and found one with a much longer hose and it was more money. I asked if I could trade it for the one with the longer hose. She said nope you used it. Maybe it is time to hire help that is better at really helping people. This is the 3rd time they have pulled this crap on me. I have a fixed income and that sucks. Not only do people want higher pay but it is ok to be quite stupid and make more money then ever. I will never recommend Advanced Auto Parts to people.

Beware of buying the online parts, shows alot more than you get, very misleading and dishonest, store clerks are very simplithetic but they just work there, make sure your getting what you paid for or be prepared to pay more money to finish your job

I ordered parts to repair my car using the online app. The app wouldn't allow me to choose in store pickup because 1 item was out of stock at my store location. I chose to have it shipped to my home. Well thats where the trouble begins. Now I have money tied up and no parts to perform the repair and no way to cancel the order and have the money refunded into my account in a timely manner. From now on I will not be using online ordering!! If I had called the store and had the store get the part from a neighboring store I would have had all my parts the same day.. now I might not get them for a week. Total bullsh@t!!! Looks like I'll have to arrange rides t and from work for the next week

Customer service at the store in Centre, AL is terrible. I stood in line at the counter for ten minutes as four employees wandered around behind the counter, looked right at me and ignored me. I finally went to O'Reilly's across the street and got the part I needed in 3 minutes. My last trip to Advance Auto.

I feel like they just hire anyone & you don’t have to know ANYTHING about cars. . O’REILYS is better.

The last three times I went to the Advanced Auto store in Midland, Michigan was a complete waist of time. I needed a belt for my lawn mower, 3/4" wide 96" long, they ordered it for me, when it came in it was 3/8" wide 26" long, not what I needed. I stripped out the bolts for the ring gear on a rear end I was working on, I googled where to get replacement bolts, Google's top three were: jegs, summit and advanced auto. When I went there they tried to send me to prime fasteners rather than looking for the parts I need. After giving them the part number from Google search they ordered them for me. The last time I went there was for front axle hub assembly bolts which I broke off removing the bad hub assembly, they wouldn't even look to see if they had them and sent me elsewhere. Again Google search put advanced auto as a top three choice to get them. I don't believe that the people working at the Midland Michigan store care if they sell parts or not they are just there to socialize

They offer free delivery then get an email telling me to come to the store to get my order. I knew I should have went to Amazon first!
