Buy online only part with limited lifetime warranty, told must use store for managers discretion to be able to redeem warranty. wait store does not carry this part! If I purchased Online and shipped to my house no excuse for this stupid policy. Emailed customer service and got run around and was not direct about anything from Germaine F.

I had a very disturbing experience at Advance in Bedford this past Saturday (8-22-26). The girl who waited on me had a necklace hanging on the outside of her shirt, that had a prominent (approximately 3" long) upside-down cross on it. I asked her what the upside-down cross meant and she said "it's anti-Christianity". I asked her to repeat herself and she said "it's anti-Christianity, kind of hard to explain". I asked if her boss knew she was wearing it and she said "yes, he's fine with it--we have freedom of religion--people wear crosses all the time." Her male co-worker said "yeah, we have freedom of religion---he doesn't care." I turned around and walked out, shaken and in shock. I can say with certainty I've never before felt threatened or afraid in an auto parts store---or any other retail store---but I did today. I would just like to know--is this acceptable attire and/or speech from an Advance employee?! If so, out of curiosity---would she be allowed to wear an anti-Muslim sign/emblem or anti-gay or anti-America or anti-women or anti-black?!? I mean, she was basically wearing an "I hate Christians" sign around her neck, in full view, and was happy to talk about it. I contacted Advance customer service regarding this experience but received an unsatisfying reply that seemed to be AI, as it thanked me for my business even though my message expressed that they'd LOST my business because of this employee. We have plenty of other choices for auto parts in our town. I will not be returning to Advance.

I can't believe they sent Reggie in to fire Daryl Tapley. He has been working for the company for almost 25 years and he has been a excellent manager. They'll never find another one that would work the way he has. I disagree with there policies and it seems that the company doesn't care about it's employees at all, your just a number to them. Well this one will be sorely missed and I hope they loose their business because of it!!! This is the Benson, NC location.

Went to our Gloversville NY store to pick up a couple of parts. Had my 11 year old grandson with me. We stood in.line Waiting for our turn. There was an older man with a beard waiting on a couple and every other word out of his mouth was the F word. We left. I went to one of your competitors and bought my parts. No swearing just walked in and purchased them.Even my 11 year old said something about the swearing. Not sure what training you give your employees , but this is not good customer service.

This would be zero if that were an option. 4-25-26 purchased a Diehard gold battery from Advance not knowing that it only had a three month warranty. Who ever heard of only a three month battery warranty. Seven days, unknowingly past my warranty date the battery died. Advace auto told me tough shit. They lost my business, don't buy diehard, not what they used to be and don't buy advance auto parts.

⭐️☆☆☆☆ Avoid This Location – Untrained Staff Damaged My Car!Do not let the employees at this store touch your vehicle.I went to this location to get a simple battery replacement. The employee assigned to my car was completely unqualified. I explicitly asked them to be careful and verify what they were doing during the removal, but they ignored my requests. Because they didn't know what they were doing, they completely broke my battery hold-down bracket and stripped out the securing bolt. When they broke it, the installer literally told me, "I don't know what to tell you."The customer service after the incident was even worse. I had to do all the legwork, make multiple phone calls, and visit the store just to get a response. The Store Manager admitted fault but only offered to pay for HALF of the repair cost. When I escalated it to the District Manager, they just parroted the exact same story and refused to pay for the full damage their own employee caused.It is unacceptable for a company to damage a customer's property and then refuse to pay for the full repair. They have zero accountability and zero customer loyalty.Save yourself the headache and go to a different auto parts store that actually values its customers and trains its staff. Purchased a battery about 3 years ago. After signs of failing, I visited the store in Collierville TN. I felt lucky as I entered as I was the only one in the store. It quickly went south... I stood at the counter for about 5 mins before one of three people barked at me saying it will be just a minute. After muffling around at the register, Fred, finally asked ''what do you need" in the most unfriendly tone you can imagine. I explained that my battery might be failing and would like to have them test it. Fred, barked again, saying ' that won't happen for at least another 15 mins' and continued his muffling around. Without answering, and feeling 110% unappreciated, I left this dump of a place and went to Auto Zone to get a new battery. Stay away from this place. They are the pits....

I ordered a battery for same day delivery here at Selden, NY Order # 527532010 . Waited all day yesterday for its arrival. Nothing. The status said it was picked up. This morning I call and complain to the listless, completely disinterested help desk employee. She puts me on hold for about 5 mins and comes back with "They have put in another order to have the battery picked up and delivered today and that they are refunding the shipping cost. So, I say yesterday I got an alert that it was picked up and was on the way, was that some kind of fake out or lie? Silence. Amazing how bad this is. I ordered same day delivery yesterday to give me plenty of time to install it and drive my car to a dr. appointment I have today. Now it's not only here but I'll have to pay for an Uber to the dr. and back. F you, Advanced Auto Parts! F YOU!! UPDATE: As a final kick in the teeth, I took an Uber to and from my Dr. appoint and what do I see sitting at my front door as I get out of the Uber? The battery. Thanks so much Advanced Auto Parts! I cannot stress to you all enough to not use same day delivery from this inept company. Go to Amazon or Walmart or any company that really knows what it is doing in the shipping arena.
