This chain is way behind other retailers. It's the last place I'll go when I need something. The corporate drive on cashiers to just sell things is unreal. Very uncomfortable environment. Next, their tech is very antiquated. Like why can't I have an account accross all stores? Why should it be so difficult to return a rental tool? I'll buy from Autozone or Rockauto.com any day vs. A company that's so stuck in time and miserable practices

I own an automotive repair facility in central Ohio. We have been doing business with Advance Auto Parts for more than a decade. We have literally spent several hundred thousand dollars with this company. Today, I have a problem with billing on our account and I am sitting here on hold (I haven't spoken to anyone) for 28:13 minutes. This company is horrible to do business with. We are going to continue to do business elsewhere as they do not care about our loyal business or professional representation as a vendor. Parts delivery is so slow and they keep cutting staff. I like to do business with winners. This corporate driven slob is not a winner.

I wish I could give them no stars because that is what they deserve. Bought a battery from these people and it Would not start my car! Went over so they could test it and they said it was good that they would need to charge it for 1/2 an hour and then test it again. This was a diehard battery. They said the battery was good. I asked the man for a refund since I bought the battery 5 day's ago. He said that's not happening.. He said check your alternator and I already did with the volt meter and it was working fine. He got testy because I knew what I was talking about. I said what good is your warranty if you don't give money back? He said don't blame me for buying a S hitty battery. I said 100 dollars is a S hitty battery he said yes and I was to blame for buying it. He also said I was lucky to have found the S hitty battery because they usually don't have them in stock. Yeah I feel real lucky! He said I could exchange for an upgrade but would have to pay the difference. I said what is the warranty. He said up to 4 years. I said so I can get my money back he said no. So why would I want to spend more money and have the same warranty? He then proceeded to help someone else and said I have a customer. I said I am a customer too and I said what my 100.00 dollars is no good to you? He just mumbled something incoherent. Needless to say I will not be shopping their any longer and will let everyone I know the reason why!

Advance auto parts mail in fuel gift card rebate is a scam!!! I filled out the rebate form online with my receipt and received a confirmation number only to be denied! They said they needed more information! What information could they need? I answered every question that was on the form, with the information on the receipt. Store ID, date of transaction, what i purchased the amount paid, the register ,my number, email, address,name ,etc. I just think they don't want to pay out!! This is the second time I was disappointed with the service from this company!! So now its time for me to move on!!! I will take my business to Auto Zone or Napa Auto Parts ! I am done with advance auto!!

Be aware price match and online purchase. All the sales people at the stores gives you a difficult time for store warranty. Sales people should not ask questions a like a lawyer. If a part is returned and the part it's defective leave the subject. Advance Auto have not 100% transferred with carquest and most of the carquest is independently owned.

When you are looking for a particular part the employee's only want year make model. None of them know anything about automobiles only a part number and that is it.

I walk in to buy a low beam light bulb for my car and the guy that was working at the counter was very rude. I asked him if he could help me replace the bulb and yet again was rude. I didn’t appreciate his attitude. He seemed very irritated. I won’t be going back to that location again.

Never order parts online from this company they send you confirmation for one day delivery and you get your order 8days later. Very bad service never ever again...This company is a big joke I'm pretty sure they just don't care about customer service at all. What baffles me is they pull the trigger real fast to charge your card but they care less about building a relationship with the customer.....Never again.
