Went in to buy a battery @ Store 8892 5121 NC Highway 55 Durham, NC 27713 Asked to have my old one tested, was told this would happen after the customer was checked out. This never happened. I went to AUTO ZONE and got Great customer service.

I came for a battery because mine is dead. Got jumped off to bring it in. Was told a simple air filter assembly was in the way so they could not change it. Sure enough, the sign has fine print. Too late the car won't start back up. I mentioned I'm now stranded in 90° weather. The manager on duty suggested I should have broken Texas law and left my car running unattended while going in. They did not offer a charge or a jump and do not even provide a place to sit and wait for outside help. This is not the first time I have been in similar situations at Advance Auto. I will try hard in the future to remember this is not the only parts store in town by telling everyone I know my story.

Their rebate programs are a joke and a HUGE HASSLE! Unless you enjoy jumping through multiple hoops and waiting over 3 months for your "rebate" which is a gift card don't waste your time.

terrible customer service i keep calling them more than 7 times keep me in hold i notice they pick up the phone and turn off no good at all flower hill store gaithersburg is the worst

Marketed the wrong item and refused to arrange collection. the garage said it was for the right hand side of the van not the left and refuse to offer a refund. They think they operate out of trading standards rights. Woman started speaking over me on the phone telling me that I need to listen event though she doesn’t know the parts apparently she was a manger

If I could give this place a zero I would I ordered a battery for my van when I went to pick it up they told me they couldn’t install it because it was raining it was just a light mist I am an amputee and in a wheelchair and they refused to help me so i took the battery home and installed it myself I will never buy another thing from these lazy bums went to Branford ct store

Purchased a battery $170.00 Took 35 minutes to install . The girls said she could not see well the terminals. Then she said it was to hard to removed the screws. Then she call for assistance. Then another assistance the manager. It's RIDICULOUS to taken for ever to change a battery.

I went to advance auto just to get new bleeder values for my Honda pilot They say online they have 6 to choose from I get there and ask she says they only have universal ones so I ask which ones for my car She gives me a pack and says these will work so I buy them and go back to install them and surprise surprise not even close so I take them back and she say I can not return then because I opened the pack I never even tried to install them I could tell they were way way too small So I tell her that she said they would fit and she said they should have she doesn't know why they didn't My car has the oem calipers on it so if she knew what she was talking about she would have given me the right ones Then she said maybe try these ones I laughed and walked out This is not my first problem with advance auto but the only reason I go back is they are the closest I just ordered them from Amazon half the price and I bet you they fit!!
