Very first time going to an Advance Auto Parts store. I usually frequent AutoZone. Went to the store (7473 W Thunderbird RD Peoria, AZ) to purchase brake cleaner. They had the CRC Brakleen on sale for the price of 2 for $10. I purchased two cans and they rang up 9.99 each. I told the clerk, and he went to check the sign as a waited and confirmed I had the correct one. Another clerk came over. He went back to check to verify price and came back and told me it was correct. They got the manager and he went to check and confirmed it was correct. Note, I'm still waiting. The manager goes back AGAIN and check a second time. He tells me that it's for the smaller cans that were not on the shelf were the ones on sale. Manager stated that he would take off $10. They ended up taking off $8. Advance would not honor the price. AutoZone certainly would have honored the price. This is the first and last time I go to Advance.

Had the worst experience at this specific store on 24th St in Omaha,Ne. Only 3 customers, but when the service tech went to get my part he was gone 10 minutes and chatting with another worker where we could see him. One customer walked out because of the wait and the Asst. Manager Karlin made it clear he was doing inventory and not helping customers. Only one service tech was helping people. When the part wasn't in stock we asked if he could find another store with the part and make sure it was in stock. He did as he should of and was put on hold. Karlin asked what was taking so long and when the service tech explained Karlin told us to call them ourselves and get out of the way. When I advised him that he could just wait on the other customers himself he became angry and told me to leave. When I mentioned that this is a service all his competitors gladly do he then banned me from the store and made threats. Very unprofessional service from Karlin and will never visit again. I will be contacting his manager.

DON'T BUY AT ADVANCED AUTO PARTS THINKING ABOUT WARRANTY. THE WARRANTY IS A SCAM. I ALWAYS BEEN A GOOD CUSTOMER FOR THEM UNTIL I BOUGHT TWO SWAY BAR LINKS FOR A DODGE GRAND CARAVAN AND IN LESS THAN A MONTH THEY GOT BAD AGAIN. AFTER GOING TO THE STORE THEY SAID I HAVE TO BRING THE BAR LINKS PHYSICALLY TO THE STORE AND THEM MAY THEY REPLACE. I ASKED IF I COULD BUY TWO NEW ONES AND THEM RETURN THE OLD ONE BAVK AND HE SAI "NO"! HE SAID ONE MORE TIME THE LINKS HAVE TO PHYSICALLY BE IN FRONT OF HIM TO BE INSPECTED. HOW IM GONNA DO THAT IF THE CAR HAS TO BE AT THE SHOP AND THE MECHANIC WILL REMOVE TO REPLACE RIGHT AWAY WITH ANOTHER ONE. THE GUY HAD AN ATTITUDE AND TOLD ME THATS THE WAY ADVANCED WORKS WITH WARRANT. IN ANOTHER WORDS ADVANCED AUTO PARTS IS A SCAM!

Very poor customer service

One of the worst Companies out there. It’s not a place for disabled people. I had to put in a battery and I was told of other disabled people having to do some gruesome tasks. I have a bad heart with a defibrillator in my chest which could have jolted just by touching the positive connection. I had no choice or I would have been stranded. My existing battery was dead. My chest is still sore from lifting and toting it. I have contacted the ACLU about the matter.

The Advance Auto that is located in Winter Springs. The sales rep that employ there are very unprofessional also dishonest. I’m being treated unfairly because I’m the only one on earth. This world 🌎 is operated by God. I’m being out number because I’m right. I hate the negative treatment that’s ongoing.Also, I conducted my research on their prices . I actually discovered that I was over charge on the transmission fluid… In addition, I was told by the sales rep that the gallon of transmission equal five quarts he lied. Furthermore, I conducted my research actually one gallon equal four quart. Advance Auto is horrible. Further when I walk in the sales rep was making remarks about crying.I don’t cry over nonsense

went to the bellfontaine store in ohio to return two can of engine ceramic spray paint that after three days it was still running off the metal, the salesmen said he had no one in the store to do a return that day, I woulds have to come back, why would leave a store open if no one can do anything. I hope this co. has not went that low from what they use to be. If that happend when we ran the stores , we would be all fired on the spot.

Despite all of their promises when it goes wrong you pay. Even if you put your car's reg number in their search system, select the items it says are the correct ones you're talking a gamble. When you come to fit them guess what? They don't fit. On phoning to ask why you've got the wrong part their answer is "you should have called to check before ordering"!! The on sending them back you don't get a full refund either. Absolutely disgraceful and utterly unacceptable.
