What a horrific company Advance Auto is - terrible made in Mexico parts that fail and no support - the speed perk gimmick is just that- please have someone at the executive level contact me

I have ordered break calliper I have not received on time and and the customer service told me I’m crazy lol also hung up the phone on me

Car wouldn't start so I had them check my battery. They said the battery and alternator were fine. After I left I called a mechanic because I figured something else was wrong. Took the car in to the shop and guess what? It was the battery. So I was charged an extra $30 for installation which would've been free at advance auto. This exact same thing happened to my father last year. I'll never go there again. Advance auto in Cressona, PA.

placed an order sept 3rd for moulded radiator hose -upper and lower was told they will be there on the 6th after 1pm so i went to pick them up and it was 2 lower hoses. chris said hold on let me see if i can find an upper hose close by . so he came back and said yes he found one at the goliad store and he would have it the next day after 1pm. so again i came back the next day and chris tells me that the Goliad store didnt ship it ! its not there ! so he said let me find out whats going on, so he talked to someone on the phone and came back and said okay, I have one coming and i promise you it will be here tomorrow. so like the naïve dummy I was i went along with it and came back the next day (a 4th time ) well he had a hose when I came back but it wasnt a moulded hose ,it was a corrugated universal hose! at that point Im fuming, so i tossed the hose onto the counter and said quote: I dont want this crap its not what i ordered. I said fred was suppose to have ordered moulded hoses and he screwed it up royally. This kid chris tells me whoa ,hold on you dont have to bad mouth anybody. I said hold on, back up ! thats not an insult by telling you or fred that you dropped the ball and screwed me up. i didnt insult anybody ! I said if I bad mouth anybody,its going to be you , when i talk to you district mgr! he said well thats all thats available (ya thats all advance has) but there are tons and tons of auto part suppliers out there. but he wanted to sound smart and tell me i couldnt get an upper radiator hose for my 1970 mustang. he thought if advance didnt have it then i couldnt get it ! haha fairly stupid remark along with him accusing me of bad mouthing fred the guy who ordered the stuff for me. so ya by now im fed up with this youngster. just then fred comes out and smiles and says hi, and i smile at him and say hey fred hows things, I said man i left you with this project of ordering me these hoses and you screwed up ! He says ya I know Im sorry. which is what chris should have said to me instead of accusing me of bad mouthing fred. fred did not need chris to stick his chest out at me and try to stick up for him, fred took it like a champ and chris was a chump. And for chris to suddenly get mad when he saw that i was mad is the sign of a manipulator and a narcist. i will spend the next 30 days writing this very same review wherever i can find to write it, and if chris tries to wait on you ask for someone else before he tries to manipulate you too .

My wifes battery failed suddenly this week. I tried charging it but it was flat again the next morning. I pulled it out to find it was a Diehard Gold battery from Advance Auto Parts with a 3 year replacement Waranty. The date code of manufacture was 3/2022 so it is only 17 months old. Probably just 14 months since purchase. The manager at my local store tested it and confirmed it was defective, and useless. She refused to honor the warranty because I did not have the receipt even though it is only sold by Advance Auto Parts. She offered to look up the phone number, but It was installed in my wifes car so I did not know which phone number to use. After 25 years buying batteries, brakes, and a host of parts at Advance, I had to permanently change to another store that honors their warranties to customers. Diehard Gold batteries used to have a 6 year warranty and last 8 or more years. Times have changed. They are now no better than the lowest grade Walmart Chinese batteries for 1/4th the price. BEWARE GETTING A VICTIM OF CONSUMER FRAUD. I felt silly taking a battery to Rural King for the core charge that looked new. They have Johnson Controls make their batteries in the USA and they honor their warranties to keep customers.

Terrible service

Went to the store in New castle pa. After looking up a price for brake pads. Now please correct me if I am wrong. I was told the store price is different than the online price. But if I order it on line and drive to the store 10 minutes later to pick it up the online price applies.. W.T. F. After checking the website I do not see anywhere saying prices are online valid online

I visited the North Olmsted, Ohio store regarding a minor exhaust leak issue. I told the employee several times what year, make and model my car was. The employee never took the time to look up parts and set me up and sold me parts that are light years away from what parts that I needed in size. Stay Away.
