AcratechReviews of acratech.net

Coming from a lifetime of using a heavy lever-driven three-way pan/tilt head, I tried very hard not to like this ball head. It won me over the first time in the field. Very solidly built and excellent controls. My old Gitzo Rational 3 magnesium head weighed a ton. The GXP ball head from Acratech weighs less than a pound. Couple that with a 5 pound carbon fiber tripod, and the combo can't be beat. Using an L-bracket on my Fujifilm GFX 50R, the quick release lever locks solidly and positively into place, reducing the time to move from horizontal to vertical shots by a huge factor. I'm very pleased.

Received my 2nd order from Acratech a tripod leveling plate and it arrived fast considering that it traveled from their headquarters in California to my home in Spain. Acratech’s leveling plate is without a doubt one of the best in the market. Smooth in operation easy to operate and beautifully designed just like the rest of their products. If your looking for a top of the line leveling plate or tripod head I strongly recommend Acratech

USPS took forever to deliver to Denmark. Otherwise, superb service and products.

I purchased a GPX ballhead and plates for my various lenses & cameras. Everything is engineered with amazing precision. The quality of the products, particularly the ballhead is outstanding. I also should mention that I made a couple of mistakes on my order, which Acratech cheerfully & promptly helped correct. I could not be happier with the product and this company! They are THE BEST!!

Great phone help. Prices good consistent with quality of items I have purchased

I ordered the Panoramic Head and the Leveling Base. Both items are well built and I'm sure will serve me well for many years.

The Acratech Pan Head is an absolute gem. Just perfect as a day to day head for portraiture, etc. But its real beauty shows when you need to do panoramic images. So stable and easy to use. I did some panos last week in New Mexico and they came out perfectly aligned. Simply a high quality head that any outdoor photographer should procure. And don't forget what an amazing warranty Acratech has on its products.

Acratech produces an excellent leveling base.
