Accredo has terrible customer service. Has delayed shipments causing me to miss doses. Will not call you back. Can't speak to manager. Run away from this business. I have contact Ohio Attory General for fraudulent billing.

I'm writing this review to share my incredibly frustrating experience with Accredo and Express Scripts. These companies seem to exist in a parallel universe, completely unable to communicate or coordinate with each other. One of the most infuriating issues I encountered was Accredo's creation of an alternate account for my prescriptions without my knowledge or consent. This account was inaccessible to anyone unless I escalated the problem, a process that was required for every single refill. It's as if these companies were intentionally trying to make things as difficult as possible. The employees at both Express Scripts and Accredo consistently demonstrated a lack of knowledge about their own jobs. When I called to refill my prescriptions, I was repeatedly told that my doctor had canceled the refill, only to later discover that the pharmacy had actually canceled it due to a missing prior authorization. Even more frustrating, some Express Scripts employees were able to find the prior authorization, while others couldn't, leading to endless confusion and frustration. Dealing with these companies has been a significant time-consuming ordeal. I've spent hours on the phone, often having to take days off of work just to resolve simple prescription issues. Express Scripts' sudden requirement for prior authorizations for every refill has turned what should be a routine process into a nightmare. Thankfully, my doctor's office has found an alternative way to fill my prescriptions without involving Accredo or Express Scripts. I sincerely hope that others can avoid the same level of frustration and inconvenience that I've experienced

It all went wrong, Febuary "forced by Accredo" to change from Forteo to Teriparatide, a generic for Forteo. April recieved bill from Express Scripts (Accredo partner) for $2436.48 called Express Scripts after waiting in cue for long time was told I needed to call Accredo it was their billing. Called Accredo and after many ques and waiting on hold was told they billed the wrong discount provider and would rebill and everything was ok my balance was 0. The next month recieved another bill from Express Script for $2436.48, jump through all the hoops that Acrredo required filled out new applications called all required by Accredo again told all is good my balance is zero. But still recieving bills from Express Scripts. I have been repeating this process for months it is now September, I am currently on hold with Accredo, have been talking with them since 9am it is now 1230pm, I have jump through more hoops, called discount providers, abtained BIN and PCN numbers called back to Accredo informed them of the process they need to follow as instructed by the discount provider, Was told the reason for the problem was a cyber breach, told that Accredo was going to get this fixed today (A guy can dream anyhow). Everytime you call you are talking to a different rep with no way of reconecting to a rep that understands the journey you have been on, there is no way to be reconected to anyone you talk to, each new Accredo rep sends you on another time wasting journey, one actually had me renew my Forteo discount (like that was going to help). Accredo has created the problem, does not have the band width to resolve the problem, and based on my experince and the reviews of all other should not be allowed to continue in buisness (in my opinion). I feel sorry for the folks that work in the billing call center, it must be hard for them to come in everyday and deal with frustrated people while being professional.

Accredo Failures cause Missing Dose of Specialty Medication

I was switched over to Accredo and it has been an absolute nightmare. It has been a month and I am still waiting on medication. Each time it gets close to my delivery date it changes. They keep moving my order date each time the delivery date changes. My doctor put my prescription in to them a month ago. This is very unprofessional and the way they are able to play with people's medication is not good.

Again, was shipped medication that is VERY expensive and paid for using a co-pay assistance card from the manufacturer, and then received a bill for $475 when I usually pay $10. No call, no warning, no anything. Very upsetting. Why can't you just call and ask me first?

What went wrong? It would be easier to try to address what has gone right. First, they automatically enroll you into a program where a nurse calls you to ensure things are going right. Sounds great? Except it's a robo call experience and you end up on hold waiting. If they're calling me, I want a person. When I try to change this, I'm put on a DO NOT CALL list and they're no longer authorized to call me back even when I initiated the call. Then, my doctor sends in a refill and their system creates a second account. Then because one account has a refill that was never filled, the other canceled my refill because the system still recognized the other account and the record reflected it was too early to refill. You can't make this crap up. Because I'm on a DO NOT CALL list, they don't tell me. I follow up a day after the script was supposed to arrive to then learn of this. By the way, each time I call in I'm speaking to someone different. Finally, it gets straightened out and my medication arrives a couple of days late. Now the latest issue is their records show a small co-pay is due yet I've met my insurance co-pay and maximum out of pocket insurance costs and they can't explain the co-pay. Now I have to check with my health insurer. In today's world, I'm reluctant to give them my credit card information. While this last issue might not be them, history is telling me it is...AVOID THIS PROVIDER IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. I will be talking to my doctor about an alternative provider or medication if that is not possible as the aggravation caused by Accredo is not helping and can be contributing to my medical condition.
