I was trying to organize a trip that could include a gorilla trekking either in Rwanda or in Uganda and safari in Tanzania in the three fabulous parks in the north. It wasn't easy at all but when I got in touch with A&K and I talked with Chris, in just a few days he was able to plan the whole journey: flights, trekking, accommodation, safari. Thank you Chris for giving me such kind, helpful and prompt assistance. I hope the trip will be a memorable experience. My only complaint concerns the travelling insurance that is not provided by A&K and that has to be made by the costumer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Abercrombie & Kent to Egypt and Jordan. This was a tailor made holiday which enabled us to see the most phenomenal sights with excellent private guides. The detailed planning of our holiday left nothing to chance; we were met at every location by incredibly helpful representatives who went out of their way to assist and advise. The timing of our visits and activities was perfect, allowing us to see the sights and have some time to relax. Our Nile cruise was superb on a beautiful boat with a marvellous crew, who prepared excellent food and looked after us extremely well. Apart from one hotel we felt we stayed in the most comfortable and well-situated properties with all the facilities we could wish for. We understood why the Movenpick Hotel had been chosen in Petra as its location is the closest to the entrance but it lacked the standard of our other stays. Possibly staying further away might have been a better option as the Movenpick is somewhat down-at-heel and rooms need a makeover. The air conditioning was highly inefficient and the hotel said it worked on a building-wide basis and could not be individually controlled. The rates we could see for the rooms at this establishment are really rather high for what is on offer. Contrasting this, however, the Kempinski Resort at The Dead Sea was outstanding in all respects, room, facilities and restaurants - a wonderful experience. Our drivers were superb and most vehicles appropriate for the journeys undertaken. When we were in Jordan the car was a saloon, which we felt was a little small for the amount of time we were driving in that country. Something a little larger would have enabled us to see a little better and be a little more comfortable. None of this detracted from a terrific experience overall. Thank you for all the organisation.

I never got any acknowledgment when I paid for the holiday even when I asked for confirmation I had paid in full. I have been home over a month and this is the first contact I have received from your company although lots of emails suggesting I book another holiday with you. I feel you have failed to supply a personal service.

The planning stage initially was excellent. The staff member was superb and was obviously very experienced and knowledgable about Vietnam. Unfortunately our main contact left in the process but the second staff member picked everthing up and it went fairly smoothly. The three guides and drivers were absolutely excellent and we have nothing but praise for them. Their knowledge of their country is incredible and the time we spent with them was definitely one of the major highlights of our trip. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and too many experiences to detail here. We have travelled with both A&K and Audley previously and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. However, unlike on previous occasions, we have been somewhat surprised not to have been contacted directly by A&K to have a more personal debrief.

We gave Abercrombie and Kent details of our budget, type of visit we wanted and our interests and they arranged a great tailor made trip for us. it was very well paced, varied and interesting. The hotels were all very good and the guides provided were helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed visits to cities and the countryside and liked that we sometimes had a guide but also had independent time too. We always felt in safe hands. The app detailing our trip was invaluable and excellent and easy to use. Good customer service too. I would definitely recommend.

Great organisation and planning of the trip. Gary at AK provided a real balance of down time and active time. The recommended guides were superb and helped us understand the culture and history of Japan much better. Logistic were great between Tokyo, Lake Hanoke, Takayama, Hiroshima, and Kyoto. Recommended hotels were great and two in particular were exceptional - Seiryu in Kyoto and Gora Karaku in Hakone. Will book again with AK.

Having provided an accurate view of my experience at the Yala National Park, they saw the review and wanted contact details. Thats what I thought. Still no response or taking responsibility. My tickets state" Tour Operated by Abercrombie & Kent Sri Lanka Pvt Ltd. I would steer away from this company as after sales is poor - They clearly only want your money and I suspect no-one from the company has even Quality assured the trip.
