Terrible system. Sold to us by our provider Arrow as a big improvement over our 20 year old office phone system. Had it about a month and it is terrible. I wish we could go back. Call quality drops, system stops working at times showing engaged signals, many features don’t work through our server dispite me questioning this before we signed up. Waste of money and rubbish system

I canceled my contract
I canceled my contract. They confirmed it was canceled and then I continued get monthly billings. When I followed up, they said some person who was not an authorized administrator nor was she even with my company had reinstated the contract so that is why they continue to bill me. Now I am trying to get customer service to refund my money, but they just keep me in a loop of avoidance.

STAY AWAY!!!
I have used 8x8 for many years and it's been pretty good. Until I needed to make a change! No response at all from them. Blocking everything I try to do as you must go through a reseller. We changed out IT support and they want us to pay £500 to change who we buy our licenses through. the product is fine but there is ZERO support when required

This how 8x8 terminates a contract & when asked, their authoritarianism is absolute. here is why this company & this guy received 0 stars
We received an email from a Glenn Parker & here is that email
"Greetings,
8x8 has come to learn that your account has used 8x8’s Services in breach of the 8x8 UCaaS/CCaaS Use Policy that is incorporated into the 8x8 UCaaS/CCaaS Service Terms that apply to your 8x8 contract. Specifically, your account is/are associated with breach of section 2. Commitments (g).
Per the terms of the agreement, 8x8 has suspended your Services. The nature of the breach is such that it is not reasonably capable of being cured. Accordingly, 8x8 has elected to terminate your Agreement 30 days from today. For the avoidance of doubt, you will not be able to utilize 8x8’s Services between now and the termination date.",
When we asked for clarification, they chose not to respond or present any evidence at all, this is the email we wrote to them.
"Dear 8x8 Compliance Team,
I am writing in response to your notice stating that our account has allegedly breached Section 2(g) of the 8x8 UCaaS/CCaaS Use Policy and that, as a result, our 8x8 Services have been suspended and our Agreement will be terminated 30 days from the date of your notice.
We take contractual and regulatory compliance very seriously. However, your notice does not identify the specific conduct, transaction, user, telephone number, destination, or other activity that 8x8 believes constitutes a violation of Section 2(g).
This is particularly concerning because Section 2(g) contains several materially different categories of prohibited conduct, including fraudulent or unlawful activity, fraudulent caller-ID information, malware, infringement or privacy violations, use of the Services in or from a U.S.-embargoed country, and conduct that could reasonably cause 8x8 to violate applicable law.
To the best of our knowledge and based upon our review of our use of the Services, our company has not engaged in any of these prohibited activities. Our 8x8 Services have been used for legitimate business communications in connection with our operations in the United States and India. We have not knowingly engaged in fraudulent caller-ID practices, impersonation, unlawful activity, malware distribution, or use of the Services from a U.S.-embargoed country.
Accordingly, we respectfully request that 8x8 provide us with the following information:
The specific subsection or subsections of Section 2(g) that 8x8 alleges we have violated;
The specific conduct or activity that allegedly constitutes the violation;
The relevant date(s) and, to the extent appropriate, the applicable telephone number(s), user(s), account activity, or other identifying information associated with the alleged violation;
The factual and contractual basis upon which 8x8 has determined that the alleged violation occurred;
If the allegation relates to the geographic location of our users or our use of the Services in India, the specific contractual provision, regulatory requirement, or U.S. sanctions restriction that 8x8 believes prohibits our particular use of the Services; and
The basis for 8x8’s determination that the alleged breach is not reasonably capable of being cured.
We would also appreciate clarification as to whether this action was triggered by a specific event, automated compliance screening, a particular call or caller-ID configuration, a geographic or sanctions screening issue, or another matter."

It's frustrating to know that we depend…
It's frustrating to know that we depend on timely call center support, we have a provider, and right now there's no service and no word on when it will be resolved. They need to be more efficient.

The most frustrating part has been the lack of urgency and proactive updates during a critical outage.

Complete outage
Complete outage, no urgency and no communication
We have been an 8x8 customer for years, but our experience today has been completely unacceptable.
Our phone service has been completely down since the early hours of this morning. More than 8 hours later, we still have no resolution and nobody has contacted us directly, despite repeatedly escalating the issue and providing an alternative contact number.
Technical outages happen. What is unacceptable is being left completely in the dark during a critical outage with seemingly no urgency, ownership or proactive communication.
For a service businesses rely on every day, the support we've received during a complete outage has been extremely disappointing.
