42nd Street PhotoReviews of 42photo.com

I am extremely satisfied with the Panasonic DMC-FZ200 camera that I got from 42nd Street Photo. Once it was picked up by UPS I got my camera in 2 days and in perfect condition. You can trust these guys with all your electronic needs. Unlike some other online retailers. I was going to buy this camera from another retailer but they were telling me a bunch of lies how the camera didn't come with a battery and charger and that it's been that way for a couple of years. I never heard such a thing in my life.

We were very happy with 42nd Street Photo...we ordered the Canon SX-50 camera. The order went thru right away...they called to make sure we ordered everything we might need...kept us informed of when we would receive the camera, etc. It arrived sooner than what we would have thought. Everything was correct with the order (everything in box as expected)...The camera is great...takes tremendous pictures, lots of features, easy to use. We would not hesitate to place future orders with 42nd Street Photo. Thank you.

I bought a Canon EOS Rebel Digital T3 12.2 MP Camera W/ 18-55mm IS II Lens, from 42 street photo and was absolutely blown away by the exceptional service I had recieved from a gentleman named Jonathon. I live in Sydney, Australia and have been shopping online for a camera when this website came up. From the moment I ordered the product , to the day I recieved it, Jonathon kept in constant contact, making sure everything was to my liking. He explained the different varieties of cameras and lenses to me, as I'm just an amateur with a camera. It's good to know, that there are people that love what they do so much, that they can offer so much assistance and experience, over and above the normal standard of customer service. I would not have recieved this service in Australia. Jonathon is an asset to his company, and an exceptional person to deal with.. Regards Anton

I bought a G3 body and fell in love with it and wanted to buy another one. Turned out it had been discontinued and another one at a similar price that I paid could not be found. Looking to the next best GX1 body, I discovered that it too had been discontinued except 42nd Street Photo had stock and at an unbeatable price. Ordering online was easy and quick (just as easy as it was by phone in the film days) and the order was confirmed, processed, shipped and delivered in very short order.

My wife and I were looking to buy a Canon Rebel t3i before the birth of our first child. The best price we found on it was with 42ndst. We have received the Camera and are happy with our order. Someone form the company did call and try to upsell us to a package which included some kind of extended life battery and some filters. The Camera has digital filters and we have not had any problems with the battery life. Maybe a more advanced user would need those things. This is our first Digital SLR so while our need for advanced filters and battery might increase as our skill increases, so far we haven't missed the extras.

I was looking for Sony RX100 camera for a long time. It is expensive camera and this stopped me from buying it. When I was looking for reviews I have found that 42 shop has 90$ off of original price that pushed me and I bought it. Shipping and delivery was quite fast. Company representative called me to check which options for delivery I would like to have. Camera is great, photos at night look good and sharp. 42photo made it happen and I glad to find them. For small improvements I would like to recommend them to improve online site, add login area, e-mail notifications on shipping, etc, make it more like amazon has. Thanks

Have been buying most of our camera gear from 42nd for many years, they have never let us down. Wanted to purchase another Canon point and shoot, discovered the S95 was discontinued :-( Did some research and discovered the great little camera was replaced with the S110. Further research confirmed that 42nd had a competitive price. Placed the order, paid with credit card, got the obligatory email from 42nd about what else do we need. No problem, the gear was shipped. Happy again! Thanks for being there for us 42nd Street!

I got a great camera at a great price. The only hitch was that I ordered it Sunday with 3-day-select shipping, but I got a call Monday from a salesperson who wanted me to buy a memory card to go with it. That upsell call apparently delayed shipping and I didn't get a notice that it shipped until Tuesday night. Fortunately it was shipped just in time for this trip. If I place an order and pay for 3-day-select shipping, then it should be obvious I want it shipped ASAP, not 2 days later. Fortunately it worked out this time.
