3DPrintersBayReviews of 3dprintersbay.com

Ordered a 3D printer on Black Friday from here. They had a great price and the order processed on December 1. It’s now December 30 and nothing has shipped and customer service is not responding. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but hmmm... EDIT: Ok they are a real company at least. I know this because they tried to contest my review lol. Also, I finally got the gift that was ordered on black friday. It arrived January 15. Merry Christmas I guess. Good job guys I'm bumping you up to 2 stars

I will preface my review with this, Adam at 3dprintersbay was extremely quick and to respond to any inquiry. However, I did have two major issues. 3dPrintersBay.com website listed a printer as "In Stock" in US warehouse and 2-3 day shipping. A week after ordering there has been no update to my order status, no shipping tracking number, and a busted 24-48 promise of an update directly from Creality as well. Adam directed me to chargeback/dispute my order payment as a result.Second, there seems to be a major disconnect between the seller and 3dPrintersBay right now. Creality was completely unresponsive. I recommend looking elsewhere for any Creality products.

I ordered a printer from 3DPrintersBay on the 23rd April. The website claims a lead time of 24-48 hours with stock in the EU. After 2 days I had heard nothing and emailed, only to be told it will be shipped in another 1-2 business days. Emails were CCd with manufacturer based email addresses and 3DPB claims they havent heard from the team that provides the printers. So 3DPrintersBay seems to just order from the company that produces the printers. I have been told in order to get a refund I need to dispute on Paypal or chargeback, I have disputed now so hopefully this will kick the manufacturer into gear. 3DPrintersBay has been very responsive in my emails but since the emails are just CC'd to the manufacturer it seems we are getting nowhere. If a tracking number is provided and proof of shipping is provided I shall cancel the dispute, but only if it is done ASAP, dont expect me to cancel it if the item is shipped any later than tomorrow. Given it 2 stars as 3DPB are very responsive with emails and are trying to help me. My rating will improve if the printer arrives soon. EDIT: Had the reason for the refund explained, the payment goes direct to the Manufacturer.

Currently, I am in the process of purchasing the Ender 5 Plus. I accidentally put the incorrect address when checking out that translated to another incorrect address from the shipper in China. Overall, the customer service has been really bad. I cannot get anyone (Andy) to e-mail me back consistently (over 10 e-mails sent) to help resolve the issue since they are the middle man (which I was not aware of when purchasing). Currently, the 3D printer is being delivered to an incorrect location (a more incorrect address then was originally given) and the seller (from China) will not work with us to re-route the package or e-mail back. For the business provided I would have expected the customer service to flawlessly handle the shipping incident instead of me the customer having to step in and do there job for them My hope is that through this review - someone will contact me and help resolve my issue as I had to open a PayPal dispute to request a refund because I cannot get anyone to help me. UPDATE: 27 Minutes after posted - I have received an e-mail from support staff after multiple emails sent this morning. UPDATE 1 Hour After Negative Review: I was told that in order to receive good customer service I would need to revert this review. However, I have heard from the shipper which is a huge win! For that I will update to 2 Stars. Futhermore, the customer support is only worried about there reviews and not what is best for the customer. Real action was only taken once I posted a negative review and the support staff got hostile after I questioned there motives. This is a quote from the Support Staff "Glad that you’ve raised PayPal Dispute Please let me know PP case ID. At this point we would be happy if you update the review on us which would encourage us to move forward with them and get the package to right address."

I ordered an upgrade kit on 4/22/19. This was supposed to be delivered by 5/18, but DHL showed that the packages were held up in Germany. They told me to contact the seller if I wanted any more information. When I contacted Printers Bay support they forwarded my inquiry to the vendor in China who was unable or unwilling to escalate my case. The two packages showed up separately about 3 weeks later. Once received, I required some technical support with the firmware update. Again I was shunted off to a Chinese customer service rep to whom I could ask a question and then wait 24hrs for an answer. It was clear to me that the rep did not understand my question and that this method would take forever. I found that it was easier scouring the web to find an answer than play ping-pong with tech support.

Kit came with random extra pieces and the PDF instructions that came with the kit were corrupted, so I had to use the youtube videos provided... that wouldn't be so bad but the videos show a different (yet similar kit) that is put together THE WRONG WAY causing HOURS of disassembly and reassembly. The auto-leveling sensor (upgrade from the base unit) was faulty so the extruder pushed down hard into the plate (breaking mounts/pieces, bent rod) before i could power off the unit. After 13 hours putting this kit together, it is sitting, unusable in a corner.... never made it through a single calibration.

I'm getting very frustrated with this company. Parts were missing from my order. I sent a message through their contact page & then submitted a service ticket when I didn't hear back. I stumbled across this site while trying to find their phone number, which they don't publish. I found a number for them on another site but I get no answer. I'm ready to actually call my credit card company and reverse the charges. I'm sure that will get their attention but I'd prefer them to at least pretend to care about my business. I can't recommend them at this time.

Their price match guarantee is a lie - they told me flat out that they wouldn't match a lower price... "our service is better", and such, as excuses, but they still advertise price matching. Next, they remove all but the most positive reviews from their site- the first time I ordered from them, I left a good review, which was immediately visible. The next time, I mentioned the non-existent price match, (in an otherwise positive review), and oddly enough, that one never showed up! I even tried it again, with the same result. I will never recommend a business that engages in such deceptive practices! I have since steered three friends away from them, when the time came to buy their printers. You just can't trust them.
