Awful customer service
I’ve been asking for a refund because the printer doesn’t work and it’s been 3 weeks and they keep telling to try this and that but it never works.

The worst online experience that I have ever had. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I’ve bought an anycubic mega s from 3dprintersbay but from the moment I opened the box I thought there was something wrong with it. Because the printer doesn’t look exactly like the printer on their website or on YouTube videos. Like on YouTube videos and on a couple pictures on the website you can see anycubic mega - s that is written on the printer but on mine is only written anycubic. Also the cables are of very poor quality. Some cables come even loose so that the printer doesn’t work. Some other cables are fixed in place with glue. You can even see the glue. The cables are fixed very badly. So I think that this printer is a cheaper fake one. Maybe one that didn’t pass the quality test but that they sell for cheaper but don’t say anything to the costumer. Or it’s also possible that they buy the printer from aliexpress and sell it for more like a dropshipping company. You pay for a real one, you expect a real one but you get a very bad one. Other than the appearance of the printer. My first print went very good actually but then. My next prints didn’t work anymore. Some prints worked from the beginning but suddenly the filament didn’t come out of the hotend anymore. So you wait a whole night to see in the morning that only half of it is printed. I tried to find solutions online but nothing worked. I also replaced the hotend with a replacement that was also in the box but the problem was there again. So I only could print one thing the first day. For the rest of the time I only had problems with it. So I wrote a mail to 3dprintersbay to tell them my problem. First they asked the S/N number. What I don’t even know what they mean with it. Probably it’s the serial number but I’m not sure and they are also not really helpful to tell me where I can find the number. So I asked where I can find it but they haven’t replied me for a while. So my opinion. Really don’t buy anything from 3dprintersbay because if there is a problem, probably they won’t help you and you’re not sure if the printer will be qualitative or not.

Hello Louis, We strongly disagree with your claim. Anycubic Wriiten on the Machine is the current latest version from Anycubic which has been clarified in their official facebook and twitter channel. Anycubic seller central team has already attended your ticket asking S/N. They were quite busy with this week sale and Labor day holidays. Its not dropshipping everything. It is a direct from Anycubic who selling their printers in this marketplace platform. Your ticket was already prioritized which will be attended and fixed as soon as they get back to work,

To date I have yet to even purchase a printer from this company. I have contacted them 3 times over 4 days with pre-purchase shipment questions and I have yet to get a response. HOWEVER I did get a reminder from them that I left the printer in my cart and hey go back and make the purchase please. This level of pre-sale service is making me reconsider the advisability of purchasing anything from them at any point. UPDATE: The company did respond to my 4th contact attempt. However, that response came 1 hour after my initial posting here. Followed 2 hours later by a request to take this review down. In the request to take it down, they cited a SEV1 issue with their incoming (previous word added as a correction) email system. However, a SEV1 issue would have prevented them from responding to me as they would never have even gotten my incoming email. They also knew that if there was an issue for several days(see second update). IF there was an issue of this severity, they should have posted a notice about it on their contact form page along with a notice to email them directly. This wasn't done. After getting the response from them and the following up request to remove the this review, I did a little due diligence on this company. They are not BBB accredited. The BBB score of 3dprintersbay.com is an F. The business does not post an accurate address on their website. Additionally, when I located the address on the BBB website, I checked it on Google Maps. One way is a multi-way intersection, the other way is between two houses in a residential area in a small town. Reddit posters routinely complain about the communication, or total lack there of from the company. When there is an issue with a product they simply refer the one making contact to the vendor, even when the issue is a lack of reply from the vendor. This results in an empty loop of communication. Everything I have found out about this company leads me to believe they are not to be trusted. UPDATE TWO: The vendor in question has reported this post because of "technical issues". Incoming Mail server issues. Yet they got the email I sent them directly. To state for the record, I am not going to use 3dprintersbay for this purchase based on my experience so far and the research I did during the buying process. I will correct my first update where I stated that the company knew about the issue for several days prior to contacting me. Based on the email from Andy they did not even identify that their only communication information posted on their website had been broken since sometime early Tuesday morning till after I emailed Friday. They took exception in an email to me that they did not even know to post a notice until after I contact them. This is the correction to that error on my part. Obviously this vendor will take any approach to removing negative feedback. Reporting bad reviews. In other cases I've come across in my research offering discounts for removal of bad reviews. It has become increadingly obvious that they will take any means necessary to prevent people from voicing their negative experiences about their business. UPDATE THREE: I have transferred a copy of this to reddit in the 3D Printing reddit as well as the posting here. A moderator had to manually approve the post due to the ridiculous spam the company has subjected the sub-reddit to in the past. So even if I am forced to take this down due to the “report” the comments will live on and be searchable to everyone. The latest email I received from them regarding my previous update is filled with techno gibberish about the server having a different email protocol than I do. Since SMTP has been the standard since somewhere in the late 90s, I find that hard to believe. Additionally IMAP and POP are standards that have been around just as long. So I’m more or less convinced that this is just an attempt to deflect a negative review of them to their hosting service. Pretty much in line with my experience so far. Many of the one star reviews on this site also reflect attempts to deflect the issue to some outside agency. I am done with these people and I hope trust pilot does the right thing and leaves this up for others to find. And if they take it down, well... reddit is forever.

First of all, we appreciate your research before purchase and sorry for all the hassle that has gone through between us. We were not misrepresent anything over there with this mail server issue. It is indeed true and I see no point in counter-attacking the issue when we initially conveyed about this. We usually respond to any inquiries within 24 hr. Yes, we have had IMAP POP3 SMTP late 90's all the latest technology but there is always script when comes to the web server when configuring them actually behind the ecomm platform which is where our service failed to collect the data in one port to post. We had to unblock them with the host to fix the issue. This is one-liner I've got from the summary report. You cannot find one system or enterprise without any issues. It would always be there someway around. We have taken this issue seriously, in fact, we identified with the help of you through outgoing working port. We will ensure it would not repeat again. Our service was not the best previously due to very fewer rules on Monitoring seller activities but certainly, we have been improving the recent years and have enforced strict measures on the seller to provide timely service for the received inquiries and support requests which includes troubleshooting, fix repair and replacements. We sure we will do our best. Thanks, Curated Community Team, 3DPrintersBay

Don’t touch this company. Will not honour warranty. Will not reply. The hot end on my CR-10 packed up after a month. No support just annoying replies asking for the order number which was on the email chain. Don’t buy from these guys. After receiving the below reply I had many more very annoying emails with the 3D Printers Bay. They told me they had sent the product but as proof showed me some parts that were sent to someone on the other side of the world. Then they said they sent it again but the tracking number was useless - and many weeks later still nothing. Their reply below is simply hollow talk - THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU! They also expect you to fix the printer yourself - so if the fan on the hot end fails, you will need to replace it yourself - soldering and all. STAY WELL CLEAR!!!

Dear Thomas, We are sorry to hear such experience. We sincerely regret this inconvenience caused by Creality3D. It is always suggested to have us in all the communications while dealing with Creality aka sellers. Situation & issues could have been easily fixed if this has been brought to our knowledge initially. We are escalating your issue with them and will get this fixed. Please contact us via email and let us know the latest correspondence with the Creality. Thank you. Regards, 3DPrintersBay Curated Community Team

Worst 3d printer seller by far If there was an option for no stars, I would chose that. Extremely unresponsive seller. Started a case through PayPal and still no response. Now it's escalated to a claim. Just to give some insight. I ordered a $600 large scale 3dprinter. Still not even showing processing after almost a month. Only thing shown is something along the lines of "order received". UPDATE: they continue and continue to say they sent a refund. Nothing at all. Nothing showing on their site, PayPal or my bank account. Had to open a dispute on PayPal as leverage. This is by far the worst experience I've had with a 3D printer seller or any seller to be exact. All other reviews are most likely fake considering this is actually a Chinese company. Take my advice and avoid this site at all costs.

This company is a scam!!! I have had nothing but problems getting in touch with this company. They sent me a dead on arrival printer. I created a support ticket and called them well over 50 times across several days. I did not receive an answer on the phone or a response email. I created a review with my facebook login and it was flagged for being posted anonymously. They also wrote me an email asking me to remove it in order to get service. I told them I would remove it once it is fixed. They said this: "It becomes routine happening for us for seller fault This time we don’t want to be like that I can help you get the needed parts. I was told now not to proceed as the comment on trustpilot pretty harsh Best Regards, Kevin Sales & Operations Head/CSR SCM Head 3D Printers Bay" They since have said they would back it now that I called them out on it, but I trust this about as far as I can throw the dead 3d printer I purchased, which is not very far. I did some digging around online and there are several circumstances similar to mine across several websites. The company always seems to have an excuse for this. If I were you I would go elsewhere with my business. I will update this post if I get my printer fixed or if my bank refunds the money, whichever happens first as these items are too expensive to deal with any kind of issue like this.

Dear Alex/Trustpilot , Sorry to hear such experience. There is a response time of 1 - 2 business days notified in an automated rely mail for every incident logged at support portal. I saw your incident has been logged at Friday July 27th close of business(COB) which is effectively followed by weekend(non-working days ). Whilst support team investigating your issue(much earlier than the mentioned response time above), you have been calling in order to get the status as soon as Monday business hour starts(20 calls(IVR issues stated upfront in contact page ), 8 mails through different forms) and finally review at here Your issue has already been taken care irrespective of the review logged here. We would really appreciate your review here if the support staff(Seller) didn’t respond to your case(ticket) after the set response time of 1 - 2 business days (after Aug 1st). the ultimate reason for asking to delete the review is due to the multiple reviews left without furnishing any details as per TP Policy Since your issue has already been taken care by the support team, They took your case as soon as they get back to work and shipped a replacement part which was already notified in the incident portal on July 31st. I hope this clears Update #2: We tracked the replacement part and it says "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment, We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece." Escalated this status to the Merchant and they responded that Parcel has been shipped and source post is collected and ready to dispatch it which will be updated in carrier site soon.

Single star that can be fixed if someone would respond to the shipping error...ordered a AnyCubic printer from 3DPrintersBay and I just got notification that it was delivered 2 time zones away to someplace on the west coast of the US. I live in central US, so not really close. Someone got a free 3D printer that I bought. I, so far have received very minimal support as to what happened. Wondering if I need to request a refund from PayPal now, or if they plan on shipping out another printer to my actual address. All emails from them show the correct shipping address, so I do not understand. This was to be a graduation gift for my son and now I don't know what I should do...BTW their address given is an intersection in MN not an actual building next to the post office in Deerwood, MN. Great news...now going to request a refund with PayPal. Will post new information as I get it.

Hi Josh, We sincerely regret this inconvenience caused. Seller has entered the wrong tracking through the shipping system. Your order has been shipped on Wednesday 20th June via Amazon US shipping service(FBA). Since this is a fulfilment by Amazon, they do not a tracking code/information and they ensured it will be delivered at your doorstep in 1 to 3 days.

Decided to purchase a 3D printer from 3dprintersbay since they were one of the only sellers who claimed to have the model I wanted to test in an EU warehouse. Some days after I placed my order I received a mail stating that my goods had been handed over to the courier and were on their way to me - a tracking code was supplied. Then I waited and lo and behold - a few days later the tracking code said that the parcel had been delivered to someone in Germany. I live in Denmark, so either 3Dprintersbay shipped the printer to the wrong person, or they gave me the wrong tracking code. It could be a honest mistake, so I tried to contact 3Dprintersbay by phone and using their contact form. No luck. Then I opened a support ticket using the support section on their side. No response. Then I opted for contacting them through PayPal, and escalating this contact to a claim. I have seen 3Dprintersbay state to an other buyer here on Trustpilot that they are an official PayPal partner and they "have been privileged to go through PayPal claims between you and sellers and review the case. PayPal will decide after we review the case and give an approval based upon our decision". Well, in this case 3Dprintersbay used their privilege to ignore the claim which resulted in PayPal giving me a full refund two weeks after I opened the case. In conclusion: A complete waste of time. I'm happy that I had only placed an order for a printer I wanted to test out for the sake of seeing if I should buy several later. Now I'll buy the printer elsewhere, and I hope that other people will think twice before placing an order with 3Dprintersbay. Happy printing to everyone who reads this! Update 2 days later: Not long after I placed my review of my experience with 3dprintersbay here on Trustpilot I got a mail from them asking me to remove my review. I was sleeping at the time so I didn’t reply. A few hours later they asked me to remove my review again. Then another mail offering me to buy the printer I had ordered at a discount and after that one offering me a cash payment if I deleted the review. Around this time I woke up and was surprised at seeing so many mails from them since it was the first replies from 3dprintersbay I had gotten. I replied the following: --- Greetings, thank you for your reply! While I do understand that there may have been some misunderstanding between you and Creality, I do think it would be good form to at least reply to either the support ticket or contact form mail with a fast ‘we are looking into it’. That Creality ignores a PayPal or credit card claim leading to a chargeback I honestly do not understand, as they should want to be on good terms with their payment service provider, but I do not know how they run their business. That said, as I wrote in the review I read that you are an official PayPal partner and that you monitor PayPal cases… never did I see any activity on the claim (apart from my own actions). With this in mind I do think my review is quite accurate. I have not gotten around to ordering the printer elsewhere, and I do not mind adjusting the current review or posting a positive one instead if the matter is solved to my satisfaction – that said, I will not be doing that without seeing anything happening, as reviews need to be truthful, and right now the matter has not been solved to my satisfaction: All I have seen happen so far is that I’ve been given a tracking number for something that got delivered to someone in a different country, and then lots of waiting for nothing, which does not fill me with much optimism. Regards, Lasse --- I do think that it is fair to give them a chance to fix the issue, and had they at least focused on solving the problem I had raised then they could have gotten a more positive review with perhaps 3-4 stars for taking steps to avoid the problem happening to other customers, because even though I was doubtful, it could in theory have been a technical issue they were not aware of. They replied that they will give me the discount offered earlier if I deleted the review. At this point it was obvious that the problem that was being solved was that I had written a review. So now I’m updating my review so that it is the 3dprintersbay review I wish I had read before I placed an order with them. If I had been someone who had been saving for my first printer for some time or who needed it for a gift then this would have been a bigger issue for me, but regardless, this is just not ok. Now I see that 3dprintersbay has replied to my review here on Trustpilot, I repost here in case the reply is deleted: --- Dear Lasse, After an investigation this issue with Creality, they informed us that address given by your order was incorrect, hence package returned to their Germany Warehouse. They've been trying to contact you via email but never heard back from you. As it reaches the PayPal dispute end period, they eventually left it for a full refund and cancelled the order. --- Since I have the order confirmation from 3dprintersbay I have proof that they had the correct address, phone number and email, so their reply is outright untrue. See, now the only really interesting question is ‘is this review slander’? And the answer is no – and I have screenshots and pdf-prints of everything – and this documentation can be provided to Trustpilot should they want to see it. Trustpilot, please ask for them :) Best of luck to everyone who reads this (but do find another shop to buy your 3d printers from, unless you want to waste your time)! A new update to celebrate a new comment from 3dprintersbay: --- Yes Lassee They told me (Monda creality Rep) Address region is incorrect . It is not Copenhagen region indeed it is København. We have order invoice has wrong region and city name. We are happy to provide the same to Trustpilot --- I do understand that 3dprintersbay prefers to shift the focus from them not replying to customers and trying to pay to have reviews removed, and on to claiming they got the wrong address, however just to point out their folly: 'Copenhagen, Denmark' and 'København, Denmark' are both names for the capital of Denmark, and it is not a small city in Germany ;) But yes, by all means report the review to have Trustpilot review the facts... I hope you are aware that Trustpilot was founded in Denmark, so I suspect they have someone on hand who knows our capital ;) Do please note that Trustpilot does not allow reviewers to report their own review, so 3dprintersbay (or somebody else) has to do that for me. Have fun everybody!
