Good Course but Expect it to Take Awhile to Complete
The Customer Service at 247 Drive is OUTSTANDING. I needed to call several times, and the person I spoke with EACH TIME was not only pleasant, but went out of their way to be sure I had the information I needed and that I understood. Also, the price for this course is very reasonable. The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that in reading the information before beginning the course, I was under the false impression that this COULD be completed in 8 hours. The literature says that you NEED to take at least 8 hours to complete the course to get credit, giving the impression it could take a lot less than that. As a preface, I have been driving for over 40 years... There are 22 “Modules” to the course with a quiz after each one, and then a final exam at the end. It took me 16 HOURS to complete the 22 modules as an experienced driver. It felt BRUTAL. Maybe the literature could just explain in a bit more detail what the course entails, with an “average time” to complete each Module after asking those who took it how long it took to do the entire course. But overall it is very good, with more information than you ever THOUGHT you would need.☺️

Thank you for your great review, J.! We greatly appreciate your feedback and wanted to share a little insight into the the rules by which we must abide. Virginia DMV regulations require that a student attending an online (and in-person) driver improvement course complete a minimum of 8 hours in the course before the required final exam can be attempted. We recognize that our students learn at different paces. Even as an experienced driver such as yourself, going through this rather repetitive subject matter can be challenging. We timed the subject matter to be just over 8 hours, but some students finish sooner than that while others take more time. And, of course, we greatly appreciate your kind words about our customer service. We pride ourselves on exceeding your expectations and providing helpful service to our clients. 247drive
