I Like that your able to go back and review the material and the quiz questions on what you got wrong and what you got right. It is a lot of information to cover and retain. However, I did not like that it was not numbered and that you have to wait 24 hours to retake the quiz. If you failed it the first time. I think based on the situation there should be a grace period for certain circumstances depending on the situations. I think 24 hours is good for someone who has been court ordered for charges of DUI,DWI, and reckless driving.

All licensed driver improvement clinics in Virginia must abide by certain curriculum guidelines and regulations set forth by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. These include setting a minimum course length of 8 hours, implementing a 24-hour waiting period between final exam test attempts, and manually emailing the certificate of completion within 24 hours after the student passes the final exam. We must abide by these DMV regulations; they cannot be changed by the individual driver improvement clinic.

This may come off as harsh but it needs to be said
This may come off as harsh, but I feel like I wasted my time and money with this company. The course cost is great but if you don't finish in time the extension is an additional cost, and there's only the option of 10 more days. I needed two days and it would've been more convenient to have a choice less than 10 days.
Additionally, the process in totality is too slow. I don't read slowly, but the timer for each page lasted longer than it took me to read. After the introduction, I'm disinterested and distracted, and the system logs out due to inactivity. I don't think that would happen if the timer wasn't so long!
Next, forcing someone to wait 24 hours to retake the final when the information is most likely the freshest immediately after is counterproductive. Regardless of the reason, 24 hours is way too long, especially when most people are answering a court order and need the results immediately.
Lastly, the certificate isn't emailed or accessible once you pass. Reading through the FAQs, it's delivered "within" to 24 hours too! That could be 23 hours and 59 seconds! In 2023, the year of AI and electronic cars, this website is far too behind. Maybe that's why it's so cheap.

We operate on a subscription basis and offer a 10-day, 20-day and 30-day access period to our training course. If a student does not finish the course and final exam in that allotted time, then additional access time can be purchased. We opted to only offer one extension period of 10 days at a lower price than the regular subscription price. It is the student's responsibility to properly pace him/herself in order to complete the course in a timely manner in order to meet required deadlines.
The Virginia DMV requires a driver improvement course to be a minimum of 8 hours in length. Our new learning management system has a built-in timer that is configured for each individual training module. We have allotted the appropriate amount of time for each training module so that they total 8 hours. The website will only capture a student's time and attendance when the site is on an open browser tab in the foreground. We recognize that students learn and read at different speeds; this was the best way to address the time requirement and meet students' needs.

Timing
I kept a separate timer along with the timer provided online and they did not align. My timer was moving accordingly, but for some reason the one online was moving slower. That does not seem efficient or contribute to effective teaching methods. At least you're cheap.

Beware; not upfront about relevant information in their terms and conditions.
Edit: For context, I did reach out about a specific issue and was directed to the information residing in the terms and conditions. My point was that the terms and conditions are available on every page, but buried under other links and information less relevant to most customers. Nothing is hidden officially, but important notes to the customer are not made obvious.

Super irritating tech issues
Super irritating. Kept getting "you are not authorized to view this page" errors and the support provided was abysmal. ...sure, service issues happen, but I had to lolg in and out and clear cookies over 30 times. I switched browsers, tried different machines. Nothing fixed it.
Took me 5 hours and 44 minutes to finish the course but i had to KEEP CLICKING AROUND to hit 8 hours. Hence my request for more content!
Content was very good and not boring, which is why this isn't getting just one star. I would have enjoyed more content.
However, I didn't find out til the end that my in person certificate wouldn't be signed onsite, and now I'm stuck waiting for one to be mailed to me, praying it'll get here in time.

We recognize that service interruptions can happen; no system is immune from such issues.
Virginia DMV regulations require all students enrolled in an online driver improvement course to complete a minimum of 8 hours in the course and to successfully pass a final exam in order receive credit for the driver improvement course. So, while you may have completed the course in less than 8 hours, the DMV still requires you to meet the minimum requirements to take the final exam.
The test sites we partner with provide a service, just as we do. They are not employees of 247drive; thus, you could not expect to have their employees sign your certificate of completion. We do clearly indicate that certificates of completion with original instructor signatures are mailed from our office and will take a short while to get to you.
We do pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service, and we are sad to hear that you did not take advantage of reaching out to us to help resolve issues you encountered.

I found the course extremely…
I found the course extremely frustration. When taking the module quiz I was constantly receiving the message - unauthorized access. I had to logout, clear my computer cache, close my browser, re-open the browser, log back in, find your module, go back to the quiz.
The only way you did not receive this message is if you waited 20 seconds before answering the question, and then another 20 seconds once the answer was displayed before moving to the next question.
