Virginia DMV regulations require all students enrolled in an online driver improvement course to complete a minimum of 8 hours in the course and to successfully pass a final exam in order receive credit for the driver improvement course. The Virginia DMV has reviewed and vetted all materials presented in the course. Our training materials meet and, in many instances, exceed the requirements set forth by the Virginia DMV. All materials presented were adopted directly from the "Virginia's Driver Manual," a publication made available to everyone through the Virginia DMV website (https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/drivers/#manual.asp) and in Virginia DMV customer service centers. The website's timer is designed to capture the time you spend in the course engaged with the materials. The site will not capture any time if a student remains inactive on the site for more than 15 minutes. The student must remain active on the site for the timer to function properly. Virginia DMV regulations require all students enrolled in an online driver improvement course to complete a minimum of 8 hours in the course regardless of how fast or slow you move through the training materials. We are currently upgrading our system to a new learning software that will remedy your concern; this system will be operational in the next 2-3 months. We hope you will not need another driver improvement course in the future, but if you do, we would welcome you to try the improved system. 247drive

Virginia DMV regulations require all students enrolled in an online driver improvement course to complete a minimum of 8 hours in the course regardless of how fast or slow you move through the training materials. Our website's timer is currently only displayed on the course list page where you select all training modules. That is a limitation on the software. However, you will be required to see the timer each time you select and start a new training module. We are currently upgrading our system to a new learning software that will remedy your concern; this system will be operational in the next 2-3 months. We hope you will not need another driver improvement course in the future, but if you do, we would welcome you to try the improved system. 247drive
