I am a new customer to 1800 Contacts and just placed my first order last night (Monday) at 5pm. I paid for expedited shipping and kept my fingers crossed that someone would notice that & actually get my contacts to me by Wednesday, as promised. This morning (Tuesday)...less than 16 hours after I placed my order, they were at my front door. That means someone working at 5pm went out of their way to fill my order & get it in to UPS in time so it would go out last night when they were under no expectation to do so. Customer service like that is rare. I appreciate it and I want the person who filled my order to know that I appreciate them. Thank you!!

I uploaded a contact prescription conducted by the US Navy. At first the company did not want to honor it, then eventually they agreed. Turns out, they shipped contacts from a prescription I had over 5 years ago. They claimed I did an eye express exam online (which is not true) and somehow those numbers haven’t changed for 5 years. It also shows on my account my military prescription was on file.

first and foremost, they lie. They tell you that you can order contacts but then once you order it asks for your prescription. But my prescription was “expired” which required me to do ANOTHER $20 “test” on their website to get the same exact prescription that they said was “expired”. They basically force you to do the $20 test in order to get contacts. And then you go on their page they only have five star reviews but once you look at another third party website for reviews they have all low reviews. All in all, I highly don’t recommend ordering from them. You save more time just going to an eye doctor than ordering through them. Also don’t pay for over night shipping cause they hold the package till 5pm so you lose that whole day. They really don’t care about you only your money. Bad for business never again. After 7 days i still don't have my package and is ridiculous.

I ordered from Lens.com a month ago & paid $68.74 per box x 4 boxes for a total of $274.96 + tax was $342.87 + $9.95 shipping with a $75.00 rebate which brought the total to $277.87 after rebate. 1800 Contacts said they could match that but instead added tax on top of the Lens .com price of $342.87. The total with tax & shipping was $378.61 minus the $75.00 rebate came to $303.61 so I paid $25.74 more than Lens. Com ordering through 1800 Contacts. Never again

Was told that 1800 contacts beat or meet anyone’s price in the USA .. well they can’t beet Warby Parker .. asked manager if they can match Warby Parker’s 25 percent off contact .. she said no .. even though Costco and Warby are much cheaper .. manager tried to throw in my face that deal for new customers and that’s why they wouldn’t honor the lower price .. no where on website does it say anything about new customer. No wonder you are suing them instead of being cheaper and better. .. sad I use to use 1800 for last 5 years .. Then they have become petty and non helpful . I not paying almost double what I paid last year for exactly the same product .. don’t let them treat you like a clown

I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with this company. My original order was for daily contacts, but due to an error on my optometrist’s prescription, I needed to send in the correct one. Despite promptly submitting the updated prescription and clearly stating over both email and phone that I wanted daily contacts, I was still sent biweekly lenses. I’ve had to explain the situation multiple times to different representatives, and changes to my order were made without my approval. I was charged more than my original order, and the resolution offered—a discount on a future order—feels inadequate given the repeated mistakes and lack of accountability. This entire process has been unnecessarily stressful, and I now regret using this service. At this point, I’m seeking a full refund and will not be ordering from this company again.

Know your insurance rules before ordering, they will NOT do what's in your best interest. First time ordering 7 months ago they told me I could use insurance benefits, making my order just $29. Awesome right? Received my annual exam today and need to update my prescription. I last bought lenses & frames in 2022, time for new ones using my benefits. Turns out those benefits were used by 1-800 to discount my contacts, little did I know that the dollar value towards new glasses would have been around $500 vs the $130 I received towards contacts. Are they obligated to tell me this? No, and I own up to not reading the fine print. But they do know that vision insurance benefits towards contacts and lenses/frames come out of the same bucket, but you get more for your money with the latter. Now I have to either wait 6 months to purchase and get my benefit discounts or shell out the extra cash. I will never order from 1-800 again just on principle.

Sad to say but this Company has changed and not for the better it seems. Their price for the same contacts was is Not the lowest by far! When My Wife was told 3 different things about various issues on 3 calls. For example during one call She was told there was no price matching, then when She called again She was told that there Were ways to bring the cost down but the agent never got around to explaining how, and finally on the 3rd call the agent changed the price 3 times! The "price matching" option involved 800 Contacts refusing to bill the vision insurance because *00 Contacts Would match a lower price. Games like this really reflect poorly on 800 Contacts and in Our opinion and We do not plan on doing business with Them in the future.
