If I could give 1800 contacts a half star I would. They took money out my account without asking .so now I have to wait to get my money put back on my account. How is it they take money out and my prescription is expired. They suppose to be professionals but I can't tell.

After 4 months of their monthly subscription, I'm done with 1-800 Contacts. Their system is constantly broken - orders show "confirmed" but never process, payment failures happen without email notifications, and you're left without contacts. Today was the final straw. Chat support rep "Paris" was argumentative instead of helpful when I tried to resolve an order issue. Instead of solving my problem, she kept insisting their malfunctioning system was just "updating, not broken." When I asked why she was arguing instead of helping, she got defensive and abruptly ended the chat. Turns out they discontinued their subscription program without telling existing customers. No notification emails about failed payments (despite claims they sent them). Poor communication across the board. First couple months they were helpful when issues arose, but service quality has completely deteriorated. Now I'm scrambling to find contacts elsewhere 4 days before vacation because their system failed again. Save yourself the headache and go with a more reliable company. Their technical infrastructure and customer service are both severely lacking.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I placed my order and uploaded my new prescription. They emailed me to notify me that my order was on hold because they needed to verify my prescription and the dr the called said I wasn’t a patient. They called an office I haven’t been to in years and disregarded the prescription I uploaded. The agent assured me it had been resolved and they would ship immediately. SAME EXACT thing happened the following day. By the 3rd day, when it happened again… I was fed up and asked to cancel the order. They gave me tracking and said it had already shipped out. Well it did, but guess what?? THEY SENT THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION!!! They did not even take the time to verify my prescription or look at the document I provided or even call my doctor like they said they would. I will never order from them again. Super disappointed with how this process turned out and would strongly recommend that you do the same. Save yourself the trouble and just go to Costco. Oh! And then they wanted me to go drop off the incorrect package to USPS so I wouldn’t be charged for their mistake. The nerve I swear.

Fast delivery. Zero issues. I had made a mistake. They caught my mistake and corrected it.

Their "offer" of a rebate in the form of a pre-loaded credit card is a joke. It takes forever to get a reply once you send in the rebate form (it's not an automatic rebate taken off at checkout when you order your contacts). You must receive your contacts first. Then send in a rebate request form. Then you get an acknowledgement that they have received your request. Big whoop. Then weeks later and you get an email that your request is being reviewed. Then weeks later you get an email saying it is approved. What a joke. THEN you don't actually get a card sent to you to use as you wish. You get a "virtual e-credit" to use at their online approved shopping sites. What a scam! AND if you then even still want (I don't) the "credit" you must first sign up with an agreement with the bank issuing the "card"-and who knows what they do with your private information. You must give also them (the bank-not 1800 contacts)your full address ( even though they are not sending you an actual card to use) and must sign an agreement with the bank before you get your emailed credit to their shopping. This is consumer fraud. Embarrassing for 1-800-contacts. I have bought my contacts for probably 15+ years from 1800 contacts, and will stop after this ridiculous abuse of their customer loyalty.

Fast service and contacts were great, much more affordable than going in person.

Ordering was incredibly easy. Then, I'm having them shipped to an alternate address where I'll be staying. Gave them the wrong address, but assured me not to worry, and are shipping them next day for me. This is where I'm buying my contacts going fwd. Great job team!
