The only thing worse than trying to order from this company is trying to order from my doctor's office directly. The website is atrocious. Why are there randomly items in my cart when I log in that I didn't place there? Why can I not SELECT the items I want to add to my cart, instead of having to go back and forth and back and forth and back and forth to make sure it's ACTUALLY what I want, instead of what they think I want to order? Not only that, they filled an order against the wrong prescription and it took months to finally get a refund for their mistake. This should be your last ditch effort, and be prepared to be annoyed the entire time.

I want to share that the process of ordering contacts using my VSP insurance through their website was quick and efficient. They billed my insurance and told me about the $105 I would get off my 270 order because of insurance. However several months later I found out through my insurance company (because I was investigating any remaining benefits) that they had billed my insurance $160 and I didn’t receive that surplus. When I wrote them I did receive the $55 difference. It bummed me out to wonder whether this is a pattern.

Purchased contacts for 69.00 plus 9.99 2 day shipping, thats 78.99 tried to bill me 102.00 what's the extra charges for? No where did it explain the extra charges. Didn't buy. Now there harassing me daily to complete the purchase. Sending all there emails to my junk folder. Very poor tactics.

Prices higher than other online stores. They say they match the prices but it's not true. I just chatted with theircagent and she didn't care. I was told they can all me a rebate for the next purchase. That's it. I ended buying my contacts at costco.

I had a price quoted for contacts without discounts nor insurance and recived an email with the price that specifically said it didnt include discounts nor insurance. I then started a chat to give them my insurance. The insurance covered $150. That amount was quoted by both Jamieon the chat and Amanda, a supervisor,on the phone. They then quoted me $455 for the lenses which was only $70 being covered by insurance. They wouldn't look into it and respond back to me so I asked to just cancel my order because it felt shady. I requested this minutes after I ordered on Labor Day Monday. They said the order was already out and couldn't be canceled. Again, this was minutes after I ordered when the email back said I would get the contacts for another 10 days. They are just trying to charge more than quoted and trying to get me to accept contacts I no longer want. Unethical business practices.

Their delivery carrier can never find my home, yet I get mail and packages daily from other carriers. The claimed they would send me replacements to ups access point in time for me to leave the country but never placed the order and now it’s too late. Contacts rip all the time. Prices are going up. Joke of a business, go with something else, not 1-800 contacts.

I updated a prescription and when I received my order, they sent me the incorrect lenses. They acknowledged it was their error and said they would send me the correct lenses. Since I was going to be gone an extended amount of time, they told me that I wouldn’t need to return the incorrect lenses since my only option was to use them. I was billed for the contacts and now a few months later, I got an email that they’re billing me again. Kicker is, the replacement box they sent was the same incorrect lenses! They now are billing me for all of them and when I called, Lavetrisse (sp?) was very rude and sarcastic. She never solved the problem and said “I’ll make a note on the account”. I’m now stuck with 4 boxes of the incorrect contacts, in which I’ll be billed for all of them. I never would’ve called to get it corrected if I knew that they would send me THE SAME INCORRECT LENSES again and then bill me for those as well! The only thing she did say was they would give me 20% off of my next order. Lol! I will never order from them again.
