Christopher Kimball's Milk StreetReviews of 177milkstreet.com

I don’t know who has this website but it is a total fraud. Product was never delivered, nor did Emails from them ever say it would be. Requests for a refund were not answered. The language from the Email is similar to what I’ve experienced on other fraudulent sites…i.e., ‘We’ve gotten reports of shipping delays,’ etc. No phone number provided. Interestingly enough, there is no evidence of this company at 177 Milk Street on Google Earth….Total scam.

Zero stars! They keep billing me for a subscription that I cancelled in April of 2020! They tried to bill me twice in 8/21 and 9/21. Two were declined because my card number had changed and then they billed me again in 9/21 for 24.95. I didn’t realize the card had been charged that time. I have not received a magazine since I cancelled in April of 2020. This week I have been billed two times on my credit card for $28.95 I spoke with customer service yesterday and they said they would issue a refund. I called customer service today and had to explain this twice and have asked to talk to a supervisor, I was on hold for over 20 minutes. I hung up and called back and had to explain to the same representative again asked for a supervisor to call me back. She said that they cannot make outside calls and asked me to hold again while she tried to get a supervisor again. I have been on hold for another 25 minutes!

Please do not give Milk Street your business. I had to pay out of pocket to return a bowl set that I did not use. Any reputable brand that is worth buying from will have a good return policy.

I canceled my subscription 3 times and was still recently charged $59.00 for a renewal!! At every juncture, whether I purchased a knife (horrible, not sharp, nothing good about it), emailed customer service, or called customer service I wasted time and money.

I received the mag once on a "free trial" decided to cancel. Got daily email spam. I emailed CS, got a robe reply to cancel on the website (don't bother on your phone!) and cancelled 3/27/2022. No confirmation number or email, Screenshot. Billed early April! Went into account, was NOT cancelled. Tried again - no confirmation and they offered a partial refund! SS again. Will have waste my time emailed and trying to get my $10 back. Terrible.

Deplorable customer service reps who work abroad basically parroting the same response "you need to go to the 'Store' website for your refund - the store does not have a contact number nor does it respond to its "customer service" emails! Kimball's Milk Street is a poorly operated scam.

UPDATE: The second email address I was given for tech support said I need to go to a website and request assistance! Looks like they are up to the same scams signed up for a 12 week trial on March 6, as of yesterday it was still not activated. So I canceled that account and tried to sign up again, same issues! I was told to email an address for tech support, they emailed me with a different email, I called three times, I filled out a website form and all I get is an Internal Server Error and a page that says account processing! BEWARE!!!

A majority of the cooks are engaging and have positive TV images. However, this is not the case with Sam Fore, who seems to have such a presumptuous attitude she is impossible to watch. Moreover, since she uses "my" for all "her" ingredients she reveals her ego. I can no longer watch her. Rayna Jhaveri also uses "my" to excess and her modern haircut is a joke.
