My review is based on the fact that they did not notify me at all when rates were raised. How do I know what else they aren't notifying me about? I don't live in that state so can't check on it in person unless I am visiting. I shouldn't have found out by checking my bank statement. I hope service gets better or I am making move out a priority. Not thrilled with the new company at this point. Edit since I'm unable to respond to the company. I know my email works because I sure do get my invoices. I have not recieved any other correspondence from this company since change over when they started charging me for insurance on my unit.

Your rental rate increased by $7 on 3/1/21, and we show a rate change notice was emailed to you on 1/30/21. We always send notice of any increases more than 30-days prior. Gentleman was very friendly and helpful. I’m at the Straight Street units. The roads to the units are rocks and full of holes which flood when it rains, very rough. The locks are very difficult to get numbers lined up just right to unlock and they are hard to relook, very frustrating.

Hi Laura, Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback on the facility conditions and the lock you received. We are in the process of completing the renovations at our Springfield IL facilities, including paving. However, our Maintenance Team is working diligently to ensure there are no potholes, and the aisles are as smooth as they can be until that's completed. Regarding the lock - this is the first we are hearing of these issues and would like the chance to make it right. Storage unit was cancelled after it had been renewed and I twice tried to pay for the full amount. At the time of the cancellation, I was in the hospital, a simple courtesy phone call would have been sufficient to have the unit paid for, now I am forced to have 2 smaller unit at a higher price. Imagine how that could happen. I'm very disappointed that a courtesy call could not have been made.

Michael, Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered with our reservation system. Our reservations are held for 10-days. You are able to make a payment and secure your unit at any time before the ending date provided. We typically communicate these guidelines with all customers but we do apologize again if the information was not relayed properly. Provided that tenants can move in on their own, it is not guaranteed that the unit will remain available once the reservation expires. After researching your account we had extended your reservation request twice, and provided you with a reminder email that included your move in documentation. This was super simple to do online and I was able to RSVP my storage unit and confirm it and rent it all online! Can't say how easy it was I am 64 years old and I was able to do it with no problem. That was a good deal! Great great great deal.
