Was lied to twice about when i would receive a back order product. Before i placed the order i called in and asked when the product would be shipped to me know it was on back order, had an order with another place that couldn't give me a date so i went with zzounds after then gave me a date and confirmed it would ship then. Date comes and goes call in and and get word that my order was now set for another month and some weeks longer, told them when i ordered i was given a date of shipping and they responded with " those were the next ones to ship out yes but i wasn't going to get those, nor the following ones to ship". Ok... i wait again even after reminding them of what i was told when i first ordered. Date comes and goes again.... call back. They tell me its going to be ANOTHER MONTH. Was done at that point and canceled the order. Found another site with the product in stock and ready to ship. Got it in TWO DAYS. In short... Save your money, sanity and time. Dont order through them if you value those.

Zzounds is the worst place to purchase DJ equipment from! I had a hardship with my job due to the pandemic and one of my equipments that I purchased from them had went into collections. I had spoken with them about making a payment in the future to resolve the payment but when i woke up today i noticed a very large amount taking out of my bank account from them that i did not authorize! When i called them they told me that they did not need to have my permission to take out any payment and that they would not be refunding the money back in my account!

Ordered a Gibson Hummingbird Studio on 18 month payment plan and it arrived cracked at the rear plug-in. Clearly worked on bc buffer marks were still in finish. They were quick about helping me return it but claimed my replacement was “back ordered” when there were clearly two in stock at the time. After waiting for a refund I went to order an undamaged one and it turns out they lowered my credit limit so I could not purchase the guitar I wanted anymore. My only explanation is maybe bc I dared to return the guitar after discovering the crack. I simply could not pay $3000 for a damaged guitar. This would have been my third purchase from zZounds.com. A shame.

They sell a lot of garbage that you can't send back. My "new" Schecter was clearly used.

I purchased Guitar on Backorder. after a month and half of waiting with no update I canceled. Upon asking when I will get a refund for my partial payment they said they had no record of it and I was never charged , I have a bank statement saying otherwise. (which I will dispute). Don't deal with these thieves!

Purchased a guitar as a gift with a delivery date of 2 days. Nowhere does it state when you are looking at the item that the delivery is just an estimate. I read further in their FAQ where it shows 95% get delivered on time. I am part of the 5% and doubt these numbers are accurate. When I tried to get helpo I was offered $25 and basically sorry nothing I can do. Do yourself a favor and buy locally or at least AMAZON has better custmer service.

Zzounds.com will be lost the customer.. too bad customer service. I can't Cancel order or exchange after I ordered around 10 min ,.... I called and send email But they still shipping and answer me call FedEx if I want to return.

Shipping information is somewhat misleading and ended up with me wasting $61 w/ one of the items coming 2 days later than the expectation set by the site. Ordered on a Thursday and Sat delivery was quoted at around $80ish for the entire order, but had to pay for one separately, since the majority was being purchased on the installment option. Shipping cost went down to $61, so I figured the last item (Fender amp) would be $20-$30, which I'd have been fine with, but for the amp alone it quoted me an even higher shipping price of ~$85, and there's no way I was paying that for what was supposedly a 2 day savings. I wanted to have at least part of the weekend to enjoy the purchase, but the "free shipping" option was listed as Monday delivery. at this point I'd already regretfully paid the $61 for most of the items, but now I'd have to wait a couple of days for the final item. When I ended up looking up the tracking on the amp, instead of Monday (as expected) it shows an anticipated delivery for Wednesday. Two customer service inquiries (1st the morning following the placement of the orders, which was done after hours to try and have the items shipped together, for which I'd be willing to pay the different in the expedited shipping cost (provided it was reasonable), and the 2nd to address the shipping expectations not being met) resulted in me effectively being told "Too bad. Them's the breaks." with no attempt to resolve or do anything to help improve the experience. I feel like I wasted money needlessly, and for the slight savings in price, otherwise, I think I'm better off finding a different retailer for any future purchases, seeing as how I expect better service from a retailer. I've rarely had such intense and immediate buyer's remorse. It's a shame, because I was really excited about the purchase, but now I'll almost certainly chose a different retailer for any further purchases.
