Z GrillsReviews of zgrills.com

First off, assembly was easy and the instructions were very clear. I actually had my two young grandsons help me! Used my grill for the first time last week. Everything worked as it should and my pulled pork turned out delicious. I am very pleased with this smoker/grill and plan on doing a brisket next and then my Thanksgiving turkey.

I did the buy one get 10 free deal on a 700 series without the wifi. It’s a really solid built nice smoker. The controls are made well and simple to use. So far it has worked great, i look forward to another one in 5 years. I dated my experience as today since i smoked some awesome chicken legs on it this evening!

My wife got me a 600 series in the spring of 2023. I've been smoking and learning I might add ever since. I got a thermo blanket so I could even smoke during the winter and it gets pretty cold here in Iowa. Read that at start up, you always turn to the smoke setting til warmed to your temperature then set it at that. Weird though, on the smoke setting it will range from 150 degrees to 350 degrees. I was lead to believe that you smoke on a lower consistent temp for a better smoke ring? I did add a drop down shelf on the front so I don't have to leave the lid open anymore than needed, so lose heat. Would've been nice if Zgrill made add on shelves. But over all, no complaints so far other than I now want a bigger Zgrill.

700D4E Ordering and delivery was fine. Product was well packaged but arrived with the grates bent and chipped. With one call I arranged for a replacement which arrived promptly. Pros: - Cheaper than Yoder by enough to make a difference. - Performs well - Wheels are a nice touch - Performs as you'd expect - Nice freebie extras with purchase - Update/Edit: Really excellent and responsive customer service Cons: - Hopper cover has very sharp corners and catch on the cover - Grates are flimsy - IMO could smoke more, I find overall smokiness to be a little light - could benefit from higher top temp; can't get a decent sear. Edit/Update: In fairness, this isn't a big issue since I have a grill and I did buy this exclusively for smoking, but it would be a nice-to-have. Overall I'm pleased with the smoker and it definitely does the job at a good price point.

Had my Z Grill for 3 or 4 years now. Great grill for the dollar. Very versatile can do so many things with it. Most recent ezpirence ordered a new grill cover to continue protecting it from the elements.

I've had my 7002B grill for about 3 months now, and let me tell you, it's been working exactly as advertised. I'm really impressed with the smoke flavor it produces, something my other grill just can't match. The only downside is that before every cook, I have to clean out the ash and vacuum out all the pellets from the hopper. But overall, it's been a great grill so far.

I recently had an issue with my ZGrill drip tray. I reached out to ZGrill customer service via email and received a quick response asking for more details. I was asked for a receipt for the product, some pictures and my serial number to move through the claim. Once that was received they offered a free of charge replacement for the tray and I had it in my hands within a week. They stood by their product with minimal back and forth.

Had used grill for 5 months with no issue. Began to have large temperature fluctuations and high temperature error. Contacted zgrills and sent new temperature probe to remedy the problem. The only issue was it took a little over a week to receive the part, and missed being able to use it over memorial day weekend. They need to expedite shipping of warranty parts.
