First Pellet Grill, I migrated from charcoal / wood offset and bullet smokers. I've done real BBQ for almost 20 years. Referred to as "old school' using nothing but charcoal and wood logs or chunks. I've done low and slow and hot and fast, and I've had success with both. Back to the Z Grills. The packaging of the Z Grills pellet grill / smoker was flawless and meticulous. It took almost as much time to remove from packaging than assembly. Not a bad thing. I ordered a wireless controller as an upgrade, the disassembly / assembly of that was straightforward with accurate instructions. The quality of the components look good and I expect to last for years. The actual cooking process was perfect. It's ability to maintain temperature is just as good as an indoor oven. The one complaint I have is the wireless situation. Z Grills must do better with this. Only working on 2.4Ghz networks is a problem. Also using bluetooth and wifi together to make the initial handshake to the app is a problem. Having 2 apps in the app store is confusing and hence a problem. I won't fault the cooking appliance for bad wireless design. Needless to say, after much trial and error and troubleshooting, I got the Z Grills 2.0 app to continuously communicate with the controller on the grill / smoker. Now for the best part. If you come from the old school, BUY a smoker tube!!! Z Grills sells them for $20, you can order cheaper ones online. The Z Grills tube is awesome. You can pack pellets into it and keep the rolling smoke going for up to 5 hours. You need to light one end, blow out the flame and make sure it remains smoldering. You do this, you will get awesome smoke flavor into your food without risk of ash bittering your food. This is often overlooked by pitmasters that do the old school offset smokers, where ash can blow from the firebox into the cooking chamber. Ash = bitterness... no good. I'm truly looking forward to Z Grills being around until the end of time. I opted for the buy 1, get 10 deal, where they send you a new, comparable grill / smoker every 5 years for 50 years!!! I already plan on having a 5-year BBQ, where everyone puts their name in a hat and the winner gets my old grill. Can't wait for my next cook on my Z Grills grill / smoker!!

Put off getting a pellet grill for a few years. A few weeks ago I ordered a blind box and it arrived after just a couple days, assembly was easy and didn’t take very long to do. Fit and finish are great. I’ve used it twice and both times I have been very satisfied with the results! Looking forward to having my pellet grill around for years to come!

Fast shipping. Straight forward assembly instructions. Was impressed on the quality of the metal used. Followed instructions on initial burn in and went as smooth as could be. Plus buy one and get 9 more free?!?!?! How can you beat that. I was expecting a low quality piece of you know what but it is a quality piece! Very impressed!

I can't believe the quality of this grill for the price. I've had my 700D6 for about 6 weeks now. I started slow with chicken breasts, then moved on to turkey breasts, and latest to pulled pork. All came out great! Next up is pork spare ribs. I bought the griddle accessory but haven't used it yet. One thing I did discover - you really should get the thermal blanket accessory if you're going to grill during December in Minnesota.

I purchased the 700D3 in August of this year with the buy 1 get 10 offer. It arrived promptly and only had one small dent on the back of the fire box. Not a big issue. Thus far, I have been extremely pleased with it and am experimenting with how to deliver different levels of smoke. All part of the learning curve. The biggest advantage thus far is being able to set it and leave it for an overnight smoke. No more 0400 hours wake ups to smoke a brisket. PID controller has been awesome. While I have found customer service to be responsive on the few questions I have asked, there is one question that they have not yet answered. I am 74 yo and will never outlive the promotional offer of a new grill every 5 years for a total of 10. My question was "Can this offer be transferred perhaps to my son who could benefit from the balance of the promotion." Thus far, no response. I think I know the answer. That said, I hope to hang around to get at least one new grill!

Zgrills has been a great company to order from. I got a mystery box and while I was hoping for a larger grill, I was pleased with the 450b that came. The setup was simple and easy. There was some damage to the one part and within two days of contact I had a confirmed tracking number for a replacement. The grill itself works great and helped me make an amazing turkey.

First time using a pellet grill and I’m loving it. The quality it’s great, very easy to put together, they even provide you with gloves. Now I spend more time with my family and less time standing over a stick burner.
