Wish I never purchased a Z grills 1000 smoker. Used it last summer 3-4 times, tried to use this season and temp probe is broken. You can't reach their customer service - the don't respond via phone, email or chat. Heading into the 4th of July holiday with a ton of pig that will go to waste. These things are pieces of junk. Don't waste your money. Don't do business with a company that does not stand behind their support and warranty.

Two days of calling z grills cust service and get nothing but a recording... Our team is busy but (we monitor your calls and will call you back.) Meanwhile I have a zgrill that is 3 months old with a bad heat sensor that I cannot use. Time for a call to BBB and file a complaint.

Horrible temp control. Set on 225 will cook at 245. NOT GOOD AT ALL. I have a Trager at work and it maintains 225 with in +/- 5 degrees. Z Grills does not know what they are doing. Very Very DISSAPOINTED !!!!

Bought my zgrill last February. After assembly I used the grill 2-3 times a week and all was well. A couple of months later it wouldn't light the igniter was bad. Zgrill responded pretty quickly but requested I take a picture of the part which made me feel like they thought I was lying. They send the part, this was several weeks later and after I called again, and I again had to take it a part and install. Grill works for a week at which point I got an E2 message. I go to the web page trouble shot the issue still does not light. I again call and when asked I said I want my money back. Zgrill says they'll send a new box, to which I answered no, I do not want to take a part and reassemble the grill (and I shouldn't have to). Zgrill says I need to talk to a manager who called once and left a message never to answer my return calls. I have called but never get anyone and I recently emailed with no reply. I have been without a grill for months and would recommend no one ever by this brand.

Upon receiving shipment of the grill, the unit did not operate after assembly. Thus, began a very frustrating process of getting ZGrills to help out. They never answer their phones and do not return phone calls. For electronic messages I left on their website and via email, their responses were not fast, and, more significantly, looked like they did not carefully read what I wrote. Their responses ignored important items I described and requested help with. Generally, I try to play my part, be helpful in the process, forgiving of small things. But, ZGrills lost my business. Even though their product looks like it is designed well, their customer support is so incredibly bad, it offsets any good things about the product. Don't buy from ZGrills!

We bought the blind box and they advertised a free cover. IT IS NOT FREE! They want you to post online about the grill THEN you get the cover. Also they say this will be the lowest price on this grill. DONT BELIEVE IT. The grill we recieved is a $100.00 cheaper now. Don't get ripped off like we did! We called customer service and they said that they would call us back. NEVER HAPPENED

Good Morning, I hope you and Yours had a great Thanksgiving. I would like to share an experience That I had and that I am having with your company. It all started on November 6th, 2021 I purchased a Blind box and a mystery box along with 2 bags of pellets. When I got my product I got my grill first the box was destroyed the tape was open the grill was scratched and dented. I emailed customer service and here started my bad experiences with you company I'm talking top 2 worst customer services I've ever dealt with in my 40 years on this planet. They asked for pictures and that's fine standard. I wanted to make sure I wasn't lying, So I sent the photos. The response I got was not what I expected. They acted like no big deal and brushed it off and offered me a 50 dollar discount. This is after waiting 2 days for a reply. I get China is in a different time zone but unfortunately I thought this was more of an American based company one of the reasons I gave it a try. Between this time my mystery bag showed up with a generic fedex bag that was open as well and had a Bamboo cutting board inside that was it. So I got on customer service again hoping for a better conversation. That didn't happen at all. It took a day to get back to me. He argued with me about missing items and ruined my mystery box by showing me what was supposed to be inside it, not taking my word what was inside it. I had gotten 1 of 3 Items. I had just given up dealing with your customer service at this point, Fast forward 2 weeks or so (And Remember the Damage I had Reported) Second time using the grill I go outside to smoke some meat for Thanksgiving and I hear a horrible noise from the hopper and the auger is not turning. So needless to say I wasn't able to use my Once used grill that has maybe 45 minutes on it. So begrudgingly I got a hold of customer service knowing full well how bad they are and they actually accused me of doing something to the grill. Never mind the fact I told them there was a large dent in the hopper when I very first contacted them. He then asked me to disassemble my once used grill's hopper. I don't feel like that's my job. I also have zero trust in the company at this point and I think you guys would void my warranty saying I broke it by modifying the hopper. So anyways I'm on a day waiting for a response I'll most likely get it whenever China's working hours resume so around 7 or so of my time. I don't Know if you even bother to read these emails But I just wanted to give you my experience and know that I will NEVER order another product from you guys again and as soon as this grill is repaired I will actively try to sell it to purchase a better made grill that last more then 1 Grill and whose Company actually cares about their customers. I chose you before Traiger obviously that's a mistake I won't make again.

This product is awful. Constant error codes that shut off cooking half through a smoke. Customer service is a joke. It’s an answering machine that never returns a call. Filing a suit in small claims court.
