Called customer service early in the morning, got recording saying everyone is busy, so please leave a message and that they check messages all the time. All I wanted was to see if I can come in to there wherehouse to view a couple of grills before I bought it. So after leaving two messages to call back, No One returned my call. If customer service can't return a simple call, do they really think I'm going to buy their product. So it looks like I'm going to buy Pit boss grill.

Dont waste your money. The cover of the grill I purchased had a gap in one side and support did nothing but keep telling me I installed it wrong and offered no assistance.

Complete junk…. I’ve had to replace multiple parts more than once… The control panel and temp. probe twice and the handle once. Z-Grill has responded to this review and wants to regain my trust but didn't leave a way to contact them... I will update this review once contact is made. UPDATE: I reached out to Z Grill Support and provided them with all of my correspondence and purchase receipt so they can "regain my trust". What I gathered from their response is that the grill should only last 6 months and these issues are typical... SO I STAND FIRMLY ON MY INITIAL REVIEW. THIS PRODUCT IS A PIECE OF JUNK. We knew you bought it with enjoyment and it indeed worked as it should, finishing many amazing meals before, yet it’s a real headache when it suddenly gave up. TBH, the first time the grill had an issue, the solution our support provided is right to the point. Unfortunately, the grill has its own thoughts and gave up again due to a new issue (HEr) after 0.5 years of hard work. Luckily it’s a known issue and our support is glad to help you out with a replacement of an RTD probe. It’s a fact that all the electric parts (Controller, RTD probe, Auger motor, Fan, and Ignition rod) must have passed the QA and QC test as per standard before the grill is assembled and delivered to our end users. On the downside, we feel out of control sometimes because no one can predict what will happen on the grill in the long term use. We are grateful that it’s your valuable feedback that we can record all your cases and will apply them to our future improvement. We hope you can enjoy your grill! Thank you for your understanding. I purchased a grill in December this was the second grill I have purchased from z-grills and this grill is horrible. I loved the first grill and this model does not hold the temperature and the handle is dangerous as it gets so hot even at the lowest temperature it will blister my grandchildren's hands. I have made many attempts to get help with this return and have not received a single response. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service you offer your customers which is very disappointing as well because I was going to purchase a different more expensive model but with no assistance it seems I will have to take my business elsewhere.

Bought a new Z Grill for the holidays. Assembled it and got an immediate error message. Called customer support five days in a row, never talked to a live person and left voicemails daily. No response! Even tried a live chat, which wasn’t a live chat and finally got an email response. Completed the suggested “correction steps” and still have the same error! Lucky for us, the retailer we purchased it from has agreed to refund our money. Will NEVER purchase this brand again!!!

SPEND THE MONEY ON A MORE NOTABLE BRAND, THIS ONE IS NOT QUALITY. Defective product from the start. I've had to replace the chimney cap 4 times in 2 years, each time taking several months to get me the part. The drip pan was to small coming out of the box, they wouldn't replace it so I had to bend it manually to get it to fit (sort of.) Customer service can take MONTHS to reply to emails. I've asked for a full refund several times, I spent $600+ on a grill that has be unusable more than it has been usable. I don't see an option to reply, but I worked with support@zgrills. Regarding the drip pan, it isn't covered under warranty when the one you sent didn't fit!?!? as in you sent the wrong one or a defective one? How does that make any sense?

I have had my Zgrill 1000E for 2 years and have noticed that it’s rusting out quickly the bracket the holds the drip pan, the drip pan and the fire box. I just replaced the fire box, but can not find the bracket the holds up the drip pan or I would have replaced it too. My Treager was a much better grill. Would not recommend the Zgrill. The grill has always been stored on my open porch and not it the open elements.

This Z Grils is a complete piece of Junk; no customer service at all, and the unit is made of junk metal parts that will not hold together; poor design; the unit is wobbly when moved and leans to the grease drain by design, at least what the person who answers the phone said. Since you can not get support for this poor design, we will need to get some steel and reinforce the design ourselves. Z GRILLS-10002E × 1 ZPG-10002E, would not recommend buying this Z Grill, JUNK.
