Very suspect customer service and billing. Here is my interaction with them. Note, I just paid for their service today (May 8, 2025). Very cryptic responses and not eager to help. Their customer service is fast but rude, they only send you links from their web page and tell you to "read" or stuff like "Everything is in the page, what do you don't understand?". Also I think it's interface is 0 user friendly so I needed a lot of help to learn how to use it and at the end the service wasn't what I needed.

Mixed experience. I've made 1 phone call to the USA and it went fairly well: decent quality, if very low volume with my phone volume set to max. Topped up money in the account after test call. Then I get an email saying I need to upload documentation for verification purposes. I did and it failed. Chatted with some bot in Zadarma's help function and got nowhere. The bot (I suspect that it wasn't a person) could not answer 2 simple questions: 1. Will I get the promised free minutes after I topped up by more than £7? 2. Can I continue to call the USA, if that's all I ever do, without uploading documentation? 3. Why did verification fail (I gather from reviews that it basically always does)?

It was quite decent experience for more than a year until I decided to port my mobile number to this service. As a result I don't receive SMS messages at all and it looks like they do nothing to resolve this issue. Don't port numbers to them unless you are ready to lose SMS. UPDATE: I ported my number to Zadarma and it did not receive sms messages. It was said that some senders don't support virtual numbers but I did not get any messages at all. After I ported it again to DIDWW, messages did not work as well. But they investigated and acknowledged the issue. They gave it high priority and finally solved in 2 hours. Now, I don't need Zadarma as I use DIDWW and they helped me where Zadarma could not.

I bought a virtual number which was supposed to be able to receive sms but it wasn't. Those numbers they provide don't work with platforms like PayPal. I ask for for a refund but didn't get it either. The company should clearly specify these limitations before a person waste money in their website

The similar situation to what you can read below. I was trying to recieve a Ukranian number for my personal needs. Before the verification process they asked me to top up a balance of the account on $5. Why before verification? After that I was asked to confirm my identity and I immediately sent to Zadarma my driving license. Then I received a reply that driving licence is not enough! ARE YOU SURE, SUPPORT TEAM ZADARMA? They're kidding me! I have opened a bank account without any issues using my driving license to confirm identity, but for having a phone number it's not enough! Eventually I couldn't use my number because verification failed, but money they received. I am lucky that only $5. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO APROVE VERIFICATION, THEN MAKE REFUND PLEASE! Then I asked them to send my $5 back and to close my account. After long time and my few reminders finally they did it. People, never provide your Passport details if it's not banking organisation. Be carefull with this company!

I have found zandarma from the web, and want to give it a try. I bought up a 5$ pack, and the system asked me to upload my passport. I did ; thinking why they ask my passports copy. Then as a notification ı was stated, ı should wait 2 days for verification. After 2 days ı was notified my pictured of my passport is not a high quality picture so ı should upload again, I suspected more. Because the document ı uploaded, was really a high quality one in which you can clearly read everything and a better version of it would be only for copying it :) . Anyway I immidiately contact them through online chat window and ask what was wrong with the picture I uploaded, in which he said technical department is not checking the documents, in return. I said ı did not contact the technical department but the online chat window, ı opened a ticket. After ı realized within a couple of messages that , they don’t read my messages but reply with an auto answer system, ı asked for a refund. They said they refunded my money but still ı didn’t get anything to my credit card in return. I am pretty sure , ı won’t be able to get my money back, in which ı will be filling a complaint form to my bank and get it back after a month or two. This company seems a total scam to me. Please be careful with them. UPDATE : ı received back my money to the credit card after 2 days and deleted my account. PS : the online chat support was really helpful and kind.

I've used Zadarma for a few months but the external mobile number in the U.K. is blocked by mainly third parties. Dialing numbers via the SIP connection is hit and miss
