This company is a scam
This company is a scam. When you end the service, they will undo all the listing accuracy across the many platforms. Addresses that were meant to be hidden are now revealed. Of course the yext rep will use some scapegoat to deny this claim. We used their platform. None of our clients experienced a boost in web traffic. Google is poorly managed by YEXT, they have limited access. The backend system is very complicated, as if they rushed to market and didn't care. Complete waste of money. You will be held hostage once you start. Hostage in the sense the information will return to a worsened state. In fact a small group did a case study about YEXT, you can find the video on youtube and the outline the devastation small businesses experience after the contract ends. We have seen their claims come to fruition. We have been warned about YEXT but it was after we got already suckered into joining. My advice for small business owners, take the time to correct your listings in relevant platforms and promote your website. YEXT is fine for large scale budgets with many locations. As for us, we have a mess to clean up. Thanks YEXT.

Thank you for leaving a review. Yext does not hold your data hostage. Cancelling your Yext subscription does not overwrite the updates you have already made through Yext, and Yext will not force your listings to revert. When you cancel your subscription, Yext no longer sends your digital knowledge to the sites in the PowerListings® Network. Afterwards, your digital knowledge becomes subject to the normal data compilation process of each publisher, which may result in your data and content changing over time. If you have additional questions or would like to speak with our Director, Industry Insights, Rev Ciancio, please email him at [email protected]. He is a former small business owner as well as a former small business marketing agency owner.
