I really wanted to love the Yarbo…
I really wanted to love the Yarbo system because the concept is amazing — robotic lawn care and snow blowing in one platform sounds like the future. Unfortunately, the actual ownership experience has been incredibly frustrating. The biggest issue has been customer support. Responses are either extremely delayed or nonexistent. When you’re dealing with expensive equipment that isn’t working properly, waiting days or weeks for meaningful help is unacceptable. It honestly feels like once they have your money, support becomes an afterthought. The battery performance has also been disappointing. Runtime is inconsistent, charging takes longer than expected, and in colder weather the snow blower setup drains fast. For a product marketed around automation and convenience, constantly worrying about battery levels defeats the purpose. Then there’s the app — easily one of the weakest parts of the experience. The software feels unfinished and unreliable. Features are buggy, connections randomly fail, mapping can be inconsistent, and updates sometimes seem to create new problems instead of fixing old ones. For the premium price Yarbo charges, I expected polished hardware, dependable software, and responsive support. Instead, it feels like an expensive beta test with customers acting as unpaid QA testers. Update 9/30/2026 - Yarbo support proactively reached out to make sure my unit was working and to apologize for the previous support delays. My unit was having additional issues to which they promptly diagnosed and took care of the issues. It seems they have updated their post-sales support issues, which was the largest issue in my previous review. The app continues to get better but still has features that would help make the user experience better like being able to add no go zones without driving the robot to the area on the map. I have adjusted my review to reflect the updated customer service, but can't give the product a 5 unless the newest fixes resolve the ongoing issues.
