They fraudulently billing both my insurance companies for a headset that was returned months ago. I have spoken to them and this matter was supposed to be resolved. And they are billing me for months of co pays for a service I don’t have anymore and am not using. In spite of having a confirmed text from XR stating they were rescinding the charges on my insurance, they are still billing me for services I never received. They NEVER answer the phone!!

XR Health VR - Negative Experience
i have had a subscription since the late fall of 2025. its been issue after issue and nothing resolved. they are taking medicare funds each month yet i have yet to have a clinical coach assigned and therefore i am not recieving the services their vr was supposed to provide. my profile had finall shown a "plan" was in place and i was able to access a very limited number of dated visits. that totally disappeared and tellingbme that no plan existed for me. email to customer support went unanswered, finally was told someone from their customer support would contact me. never happened and no responses to vm that i had left. today i was told they had transitioned to a new platform and could no longer assign new customers to it. what?! wait, ive been a customer for many months and have yet to receive the vr plan i had enrolled for and the help i looked forward to. i do not recommend xrhealth vr services. they have collected thousands of medicare dollars without providing the services they are supposed to provide. scam? medicare fraud? beware!!!

Good therapist, extremely poor customer service
Therapist was very good. Not responsive at all to emails regarding a problem. Received a bill for payment of $1200 despite having been assured XRHealth accepted Medicare. Cannot seem to get a response from anyone regarding this problem. Starting to feel like a scam outfit to me.

Dear Gerald,
We are so very sorry to get this feedback! For certain, we will connect with you to discuss your problematic bill. We will get this ironed out. Please accept our apologies- our billing department is typically extremely responsive, so I will look into this for you immediately. Thank you for the positive feedback on your therapist and I hope you continue to see progress in function from the therapy you received. Please expect a call Monday morning. Best,
Jessica

Bad experience, beware of 'invited' reviews!
I was a patient of XR Health. They assured me on multiple occasions prior to receiving services that their services would be completely covered by my insurance, it was not. They told me that their physical therapist had experience with one of my conditions, she did not and gave me an exercise that literally was the first result that one would find on google for an exercise for that condition.
You may notice that the majority of the reviews on this site for XR Health are marked "Invited". That means that XR Health invited these patients to leave a review. Companies typically only invite consumers that they know had a positive experience and would be likely to leave a positive review. If you see predominantly 'invited' reviews, you know that the company is trying to stack the deck in their favor.
Because of my negative experiences, I left a 1-star review on Google.
In response, several of the top-level executives at XR Health left fraudulent/conflict of interest reviews in an attempt to bury my 1-star review. And they did so in such an inept manner as to be laughable.
Of the 10 reviews currently on Google (Dec 1, 2021), 3 are from people with no history of making reviews and six are obviously from XR Health staff, including executives and... wait for it... their Social Marketing person!
Clair Polansky - Content & Social Marketing
Eran Orr - Founder & CEO
Tal Arbel - VP Product Data & AI
Shira Orr - Manager - Medical & Scientific Publications
Kate Gleason - Clinic Director
Noa Lustgarten - Director, Clinical Delivery
Feel free to Google any of the above names + "XR Health".

Hi Kymba,
Thank you for the feedback and I am sincerely sorry that you had a less than positive experience with XRHealth. We strive to deliver the most clinically- appropriate, data-driven, effective therapeutic services in innovative and patient-centered modalities. For these reasons, we get exceptional feedback, but we also do get some 1, 2, 3 star ratings that are critical feedback, which we do post and do not hide, and are also of the "invited" nature.
Just to speak to your investigation into how our feedback is obtained:
We have been checking out Google as a platform for reviews (this is why employees are among the reviewers there) as we were trying to understand if this platform verifies the identity of the reviewers and if the person was our patient our not. As this is not the case we are not using the Google reviews and have already submitted an official request to Google to remove the review option from the platform.
As you have found, our patient are reviewing us on this TrustPilot platform, here is a link showing the reviews: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/xr.health. As you can see our patients are very satisfied with the treatment and the services.
For your specific complaints, just as any other medical service, reimbursed by insurance, patients still have what is called "patient responsibility" to cover, such as co-pay and/or deductible, billed once the treatment was performed, according to their insurance plan.
We've successfully treated over 2000 patients this year alone, in 3 different countries and our NPS scores are extremely high, comparing to the average NPS score in the healthcare market.
We are very sorry to hear that you had a less than optimal experience, as we strive to provide the best services, with the highest transparency - with all our patients.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions and we'll be happy to answer.
All the best,
The XRHealth Team

I had a subscription program with the…
I had a subscription program with the headset and I had to send my headset backed to financial reasons as now I Amin a place that I am able to rent the headset again but the only way for me to get the headset back is to go through another evaluation with a therapist. No thank you. If I had just kept the headset, the therapist was not going to come looking for an evaluation so why do I have to done nw to get the headset back?
Response from XRHealthNov 4, 2021
Dear Julianne,
Thank you for your feedback. We love that you had such good outcomes and progress that you wanted to continue with the headset! We will certainly look at the process of re-gaining access to the headset for former patients, without requiring another evaluation. The main reason for this is maintaining safety and ensuring there have not been significant medical changes in the patients, as this is a therapeutic headset. We want only the best for you and all our patients. Please reach out to us and discuss this, and we can work to bring you access! Best, Jessica

Deceptive Business Practices
I was excited to see if XRHealth could help me, but I've been frustrated by their deceptive business practices around subscriptions.
When you sign up there is a general an intake call. About 10 days later I received the equipment in the mail and three days after that I had a Zoom call to get the program started. I come to find out the subscription starts at the intake call and not when the program starts. I ended up paying for almost half a month of not getting any treatment. Their website says each week I would get progress updates and biofeedback, not sure how I could get that without having the equipment. I paid for a month and only got about 17 days of treatment.
It would be like signing up for cable/internet and starting the subscription on that day rather than the day you get the equipment and actually start using the service.
When I tried to get an explanation, their support became very unresponsive. A more minor point, but the equipment I used was very buggy and has an overall poor user experience.

We, at XRHealth, sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration that was caused to you prior to submitting the complaint with Trustpilot. We appreciate the feedback you submitted and we are working to improve our transparency regarding the product and services we offer. The information we have gathered from you in this interaction will allow us to better improve our customer service actions and response time.
Prior to receiving this complaint with Trustpilot, we had reached out to you to offer compensation for the time that you had no access to the full product and we agreed upon resolution of this situation in the form of only billing you for the month of service starting on the date you had received the virtual reality headset.
Additionally, we have already initiated a revise in our subscription plans/policies to make the offering more clear to consumers. We also made changes to perform partial billing procedures in order to avoid full collection of a monthly program from the sign on. We truly hope that we have remedied this situation and that you would consider using our services again in the future.
